Perfect for pokemon and building loving kids!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loved building this toy! He actually liked it so much, we bought another as a gift for another little boy. He was able to build it himself and the directions were clear. The pieces were well made and everything displayed really nice once it was all assembled.

Very cool & preschooler approved
My preschool had wanted this for a long time. I avoided buying it for a long time because it is not electronic so it doesn’t talk like the Pokédex from the show. My kid got a Mega set for his birthday that he already had, so we exchanged it for this. And honestly, even if it’s not “functional,” this is a pretty cool build. When we were done, we looked up a photo of the Pokédex from the original Indigo League series, and it is identical, down to the placement of each button. It opens and closes on hinged pieces, and has 5 interchangeable lenticular pieces. It would be cool if they released more Pokemon pieces too.

Awesome Build and Brings Back Memories
Really happy with this kit. Building it was a fun way to spend a couple hours, and the final product looks great on display. The design is spot-on — it actually feels like holding the old-school Pokédex from the games and show. The instructions were clear, the pieces fit together well, and it’s built solid once finished. I liked that it even comes with extra tiles featuring Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Eevee to swap out on the screen. Nice little touch. If you’re a Pokémon fan, it’s definitely worth picking up. Feels good to have it sitting on my shelf — solid collectible, no complaints.

Stick with the better brand
Awful design and product. Directions VERY confusing in many steps and does not go together smoothly. A huge source of frustration and a waste of my sons allowance money

Do not recommend without auper glue
To those that successfully built this, did yall super glue this crap together? After seeing my son get frustrated for not being able to keep it together I insisted to help. Believe me, I’ve worked with dozens of Lego sets and none of them have been as difficult to stick together and keep together as this art has been. The parts are slightly off making the entire thing extremely difficult to piece together without loosing another end.

It’s awesome!
I bought this product a few days ago, and I love it. Though this product is awesome I can only display it with pikachu, squirtle, charmander, bulbasaur, or eevee, I suggest selling other tiles in packs or with the Pokemon that it has on the tile.

An okay gift
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was okay. Not what I expected. My son really liked it though. Building it and paying with the cards. Very cool idea. The graphics in it looked good. The colors were definitely vibrant. Something different for sure.

Product Needs Work
Received this set as a birthday gift and I must say, I am disappointed by the quality. First and foremost, I’m missing a pretty obvious piece, now the set is clearly incomplete and is bothering me. Secondly, the stand is very unstable and even the slightest shake knocks the Pokédex out of it, the stand is the part that needs the most work. The back of the stand, where the extra lenticular cards are kept, should’ve been built with two 1 x 2 x 1 panel pieces while still keeping the 1 x 4 x 1 panel piece to prevent the extra cards from falling out easily. The set was fun to build and looks nice but the overall technical quality is poor. It’s only redeeming quality are the visuals. For the missing piece, I can’t even find the piece in the search, so I guess I’m stuck with this incomplete product.

Pokémon lego set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Difficult to complete. Too many Lego pieces to put together for the age of my son. He really wanted to finish putting it together but he lost interest when it became too complicated to finish. Will finish soon

Great for the Pokémon collector!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the Mega Pokemon Kanto region pokemon lego set my eleven year old son was absolutely ecstatic as he is a big pokemon fan and collector. He immediately started putting it together, the instructions were very clear and he got it together in about twenty minutes. It comes with four face plates that you can switch out. Overall it is a great product and I highly recommend it to all pokemon enthusiasts.

Fun, Interactive Building Set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys (age 10 and 12) are huge building block fans, and often build sets with well over 1000 pieces. I was skeptical they would be engaged very long being this was much smaller. To my surprise they had a blast. They loved the little details and that it looked like a video game. The light up feature and interchangeable cards are a great touch. This is perfect for Pokemon fans that love building blocks also.

Recommendable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was actually a very fun build, I love the light up power button opens like a book and has a stand that can hold all of the other cards. It really went together well I did not have any trouble reading the instructions everything click together perfectly, this was definitely a well made quality product and would recommend to Friends, family, and others.

First of all, it’s red.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can’t go wrong with Pokémon and building blocks. This set is detailed and fairly complex. It has many pieces of the same color, which was less engaging than other sets for my child. Unfortunately, she lost interest about a third of the way through, so I took over, with her finishing the last third. The completed set looks great and has a stand to display it, which is very cool. The lenticular pieces with the starter Pokémon are a neat feature and there’s a place to keep the extras in the back of the stand. Overall quality is nice, instructions are clear, and the finished product makes for a great display.
