Everything lined up but the lid isn't a tight fit so it slides around. Not a very stable surface. But for 78$ what can you expect? If you're looking for cheap furniture that will last awhile and get little use this is a good bet. A major plus is the storage capacity. Got company coming over and crap all over the floor from your maniac children? Shove it all in here! lol

Simple to put together but corners didn't line up exactly and there were some imperfections but it works great for my needs. I put two hinges on it so you could easily open the lid without removing it. As well as functioning as an end table, it works great for stowing bedding if someone wants to crash on the couch.

I bought three and set them up as the photo shows: two side by side for a coffee table and one as an end table. They were relatively easy to assemble---not a whole lot of parts. I like the sleek modern look and the functionality of all the storage space. I plan on putting games and blanket throws in them.
