It’s full of enough foaming hand wash to refill your bottle almost 3 times (2.8x to be exact). Plus, our handwash is made with a biodegradable formula powered by plant-based cleansers and other thoughtful ingredients, and without parabens or phthalates. So fill 'er up. Because the only thing worse than insufficiently clean hands is employing pants-wiping as an interim solution. If we had a signature scent, it would probably be this. Our Sweet Water scent is like a cool splash of grapefruit + lemon leaves wrapped in watery petals of star jasmine + lily of the valley. It’s rumored that water from the fountain of youth smells similarly. Packaging contains recycled content. Bottle (minus pump) made with 100% recycled plastic (PCR).

Q: Why did they change the pump?! The new one is awful. It constantly gets stuck down. It also doesn't make foam sometimes. It just shoots out liquid. All of the ones I've bought with the new pump have this issue.

Q: Does this have real grapefruit in it? I’m allergic to grapefruit, but it doesn’t explicitly say that there is, so I used it and was a bit itchy after.

Q: Is the Method foaming grapefruit refill 34 oz. size discontinued? I can only find the 34 oz. refillable scent in gel soap.

I'm not a lemon scent person. I've got a sensitive sense of smell, and too often, lemon scents are abrasive, chemical-laden, acidic, or excessive. I'm also not a huge foam soap fan. With OCD tendencies, I'm constantly washing my hands, and I find many foaming soaps aren't moisturizing enough to use at the frequency I do. And yet, this foaming, lemon-scented soap has quickly become one of my favorite hand soaps I've ever tried — Bath & Body Works, various luxury brands, and so on. Speaking of luxury, this isn't that: I'm not saying its suds are selling anti-aging, skin-protective benefits with some divine aroma. It is, however, consistently pleasant to smell. Its notes never get old to me, and I'm always surprised that I never find the freesia included (to balance out the lemon) too sweet, or too fruity or floral. It's always fresh, provides a clean wash, and still it's not over-drying if drying at all. The texture isn't creamy, but it is smooth. The only frustration I have is not being able to find a refill package. (We have to purchase the individual containers repeatedly at this point, which isn't cost-effective and adds unnecessarily to our trash/recycling.) Otherwise, I highly recommend this variation of Method's foaming hand soap!
