I spread on flower bed and watered a few days each week and it has really help keep my yard intact. It doesn’t have all the woody materials like others. Really good soil.

I like this soil can be use on all my plants, indoors and outdoors as we have both. I have noticed when we water them the soils tend to pack down so it’s great to have this top soil to fill them in. It says it allows for excess water to drain while retaining moisture to help plant growth during dry seasons which is great. It’s a blend of reed sedge peat, perlite, and sand. The plants are growing nicely so it seems to be helping them. It’s a nice big bag too so I can get a lot from it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never actually gotten bags of potting soil of this size before but it’s a really good size for big projects and frequent replanting of small one as well. I mostly need soil for growing cat grass for my cats and occasionally some herbs for cooking so I like a rich diverse soil. As far as soils go, I really like it for these things. It’s well aerated, a good smell and combination of soil. It’s easy to tell when the soil is saturated without overdoing it and I haven’t had issues with it getting smelly or attracting bugs. It’s just a really decent multipurpose soil and one I’m glad I tried. It definitely beats buying smaller bags more frequently too!
