Good in theory, but not tough enough for dog teeth
LOVED this leash for the first month we had it…but my the end of the month the dog had chewed halfway through it. I love how it retracts, doesn’t give rope burn, it’s bright so no one gets clotheslined by it, but it’s kind of useless if the dog can chew through it.

Bloodhound Tested - Retractable Leash 2.0
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome retractable lead!! It’s easy to hold and not too heavy. The length is just right for my 65lbs bloodhound puppy. It gives her enough room to roam away from me, yet gives me the security to keep her safe. The locking mechanism is easy to use for a quick restraint or to keep the leash at the desired length.

D ring fell off
The D ring that holds the doggie bags fell off within the two weeks - not sure if I can reattach that or find some other way to hook the bag holder on to the leash handle

Perfect!
I wanted a retractable leash but had a bad experience with cheap cable type one in the past. I purchased this leash and it’s perfect! You can hold the “ribbon” in your hand with no fear of getting a burn. It operates very smoothly and easily. I can retract it quickly without harming my pup. I love it and my pup loves being able to roam around. Great product!

This retractable leash is very well built and works well for my dogâ€:tm:s weight and size, about 35 pounds. The leash was well package and shipped quickly. I usually use a stand six foot lead for training and command practice and this retractable leash adds another option for walking and exploring areas when in an area that necessitates a leash while still providing extra leash length allowing some freedom for my dog but still having the safety of control. I added this retractable lead in my dogâ€:tm:s “goâ€� bag making the perfect addition of safety and freedom for walking my dog.

Love the new leash!
This leash is a replacement for one that was similar but a little heavier. After about a year of use, my other one wouldnâ€:tm:t retract any longer. I wanted to try a different one this time and I liked the colors. I loved how light it was. It looks pretty sturdy which is important since I use it every time my dog needs to go out. We will have to see how long it lasts.

IMproved version of the already best retactable leash!
The original Mighty Paw retactable leash has been our go-to leash for walks with our husky/sheppard mix. We use it multiple times a day coupled with the Mighty Paw sport harness. Recently we purchased the updated version (2.0) and it's even better than the original! It's heavier duty and the return mechanism is a bit snappier. Love the refective piping on the retactable band, and the easy lock/release mechanism. When you use a leash as often as we do, it really is important that it is easy to use and dependable. Mighty Paw continues to deliver so,me of the best quality dog care products on the market!

Sturdy, Handy and Useful
I liked the adjustability of the leash. That adjustability made the leash easily usable regardless of whether we were taking a hike on the trails or walking on the street. The locking feature appears to be reliable, securely locking into the desired length. The construction of the leash housing is durable and sturdy.

It worked for a month and 10 days
Correction: I was to quick to complain I'm changing the 1 star to a 5. I sprayed some WD 40 on the leash and it works fine. It worked great for about a month and 10 days and then it stopped retracting. So I look at it more like a rental. You rent it for $17 for a month and half worth of use out of it. Since it was passed the month warranty Amazon wouldn't replace it. But they did give me a $5 courtesy voucher towards another purchase

Love the D ring
The little D ring to hang my doggie bags on was the feature that clinched the deal for me. Works great for that. The leash is very attractive and comfortable. When walking my boxer the leach actually comes out parallel to the the ground when holding the leash. My only worry is that the spring seems weaker that other leashes. It still works good and retracts fine. It just doesn't have the same force as my broken leash. So far everything is okay and I've used every day for the last 2 weeks. We'll see how it hold up. So far I would recommend it.

Holding up well
This leash gives my pup room to roam but leaves me the control to stop him from going too far. It seems pretty sturdy. We've had it for a few weeks and so far, so good. He's a 3 1/2 month old goldie puppy so I can't attest to the weight factor. I'd say he's running at about 30 lbs at this point and the leash has held up well. He's had it wrapped around things i.e. trees, rocks etc. and there has been no damage. He is also a chewer and no fraying of the leash yet. Easily retracts and locks easily as well. Took a while for him to get used to it but that is to be expected. Based this purchase on the reviews and I am extremely happy with it.
