  • A: I just bought this, and in the instructions it says the app is called iDotMatrix, and is found in the google or apple app stores. There is a QR code in the manual, but I also found it by searching.

Underwhelming for the price

-Bightness set at 100% will burn your kid's eyes out. -The display settings don't seem to hold well. Toggling through in the device is frustrating. -This is for a person with a a phone, not a kid, as the only way to operate it with any ease is via the app. -Can't customize any alarm sounds/music. I'd at least expect some minecraft theme soundtracks or ability to add a song. This is 2025 and it's a $30-$50 item depending on in-person vs store price. -Not intuitive.

Would give zero stars if i could.

We got locked out of it somehow and can’t get it unlocked. We tried target support and they couldn’t help us. Very disappointed in this product. It was a birthday gift for our 10 year old and he is super bummed he can’t use his fun gift. Beware, this product apparently only has a 30 day return window, so we can’t return it now. Would give no stars if possible.

Hi Megan - thanks for reaching out. please follow the below to reset the unit. If this doesn't resolve it, please reach out to us https://ukonic.com/pages/contact-us 1. Hold on the power ON/OFF switch of unit, without connecting the power inlet. 2. Then connect the power inlet for unit, once there will have “DI” sound and unit lights on, then release the power on/off switch quickly. 3. Press the unit ON/OFF switch and unit will enter into the Self-checking mode, and press the ON/OFF button to switch nine models. 4. After finishing above processes, then re-start the Pixel light and enter the animation mode, the unit will be reset successfully.

Lots of features my 7 year old loves. You can pick characters or even draw on your phone which connects via Bluetooth on an app. Pictures attached is something he drew!

Needs better app.

I bought this for my son's room, he loves Minecraft and he seems to like this. Overall I have no regrets, but I do wish the app worked better. The schedule function does not work, ideally it would come on at night and turn off in the morning. I like that you can draw your own pictures but the color options are limited and there's no grays or browns. Also I imported a photo once and that flat out broke the app had to clear cache and data and post all of mine and my son's custom pictures. If they fix the app this would be an amazing product.
