I was using another low cost company for 7 years. I thought they had the lowest price. I got married and my husband said he was using Mint mobile. I switches because I thought it would be easier with paying bills if we were on the same plan. Not only was it easier, but it is cheaper and has more coverage.

I have decent cell service around Savannah. Terrible service near my home in Bluffton. WiFi calling does not work at the hospital where I am employed and the service inside the building is nonexistent in several places so that is challenging. At home WiFi calling works so poor cell service doesn’t affect me as much unless my internet is out. Which is concerning for power outages and being able to use my cell phone

I have put in for a credit return with my bank. Away from the house when i drove to OC, Md. I had good service. At home if i walk outsude i drop calls , works only on wifi calling inside my home. I can not leave my home without losing service. On drive home from Winchester , Va my service was spotty. From almost Romney wv home no service. I switched back to my old carrier. Very disappointed. Service is terrible at my home. I was told when i purchased i would have service, turns out not to be true. I had several conversations and chats with representatives. Many excuses, from tower issues to, Sim card, to mybphone is locked etc. All not true. My phone was unlocked. The last representative said service is not good where i live. That was the truth. All representatives were very nice and tried to help. I need a phone service that has service at my home. I was away 12 days out of the time once i activated. When in Winchester i tried to switch back to mybold carrier i was not able to until i returned home. I still lost calls while there and texts. Thank you

Setting up Mint Mobile was actually very easy and I'm glad transferring my number ended up being a smooth process. As far as the service goes, it's complicated. When I have service, it actually works really well and I've had service in places when my husband didn't (he has a different provider). But I have gotten very annoyed with the service recently. I do get service at my house (I'm typing this review in my bed with only mobile data turned on), it works in every room and outside, but it really likes to just randomly go out. For example, I would be sitting in our kitchen on my phone (again, I do get service in my whole house) and my phone would do one of the following: have bars with no 4G, have bars with 4G but no arrows, have bars with an E (with arrows) instead of 4G, have bars with a slashed out E (no arrows), have bars with an R (with arrows), or no bars at all with an X. Any one of those will happen whether I'm picking up my phone to use it or while I'm actively using my phone (normally it's latter). And usually, the no bars with an X is the one I get the most. I do only get one bar of service where I live, but that one bar actually works very good. . . when it decides to actually work!

The biggest issue I have is that my phone will say I have 5g uc speed and I'll do a speed test and it shows I only have 1. 25megabits download speed and 1 megabit upload speed. But you claim to have 5g high speed internet.
