Description
With the NEW Single-to-Double Stroller 2.0, Mockingbird managed to add even more parent-friendly features onto their already award-winning stroller. Clearly informed and designed by real parents, these enhancements include an even more extendable canopy for sun protection, auto-adjusting seat straps to help parents buckle in their kids faster, a spring-loaded stroller lock for an easier unfold, and a redesigned frame that provides an even smoother and more comfortable ride.
The 2.0 version also comes with all the impressive features that have helped its original model gain such a cult following. As the Single-to-Double’s name implies, you can use this stroller both as a Single AND a Double by adding on Mockingbird’s 2nd Seat Kit as your family grows (you can even add on their Riding Board to support a third!). Also, unlike many other strollers, you can use the Single-to-Double from day one by using one of Mockingbird’s infant accessories.
This stroller really feels like “they thought of everything” – not only can it support all ages and multiple kids, but it also has an adjustable handlebar for caregivers of different heights, a seat that’s both reclinable and reversible to evolve with your child’s preferences, and a canopy that extends to different lengths to help block the sun no matter the angle. It has a giant basket to help carry everything you’ll need, an incredibly quick and easy one-hand fold, and thoughtful little details like a crumb release zipper at the base of the seat and reflective fabric for safer evening strolls.
With such impressive design, high quality materials, and a price that’s hundreds of dollars cheaper than most other premium strollers, it’s no surprise Mockingbird has rapidly become so famous in parenting circles and won countless awards like:
“Best New Stroller Brand” (What to Expect)
“Best Full-Size Stroller” (Good Housekeeping)
“Registry Must-Have” (Babylist)
“Best Strollers of the Year” (Red Tricycle)

Dissappointed in this stroller

Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend

It’s a great stroller. However it’s not the best and I honestly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone after having it for baby #1. It’s so difficult to close/open it’s a terrible design especially when there’s a baby in one hand and you’re trying to open up the stroller. There needs to be a handle once it’s closed to pick up and put in the trunk. Also the seat and car seat both wiggle when locked in. For the price of this it’s not worth it all coming from someone who has tried this. I ended up buying another stroller that is more user friendly.
Nearly perfect

We had the single stroller when we thought we were just having one baby. We loved it for our first, from newborn all the way to toddler. When we found out we were having our second, we upgraded and bought the single to double because we loved having the single so much. It’s been great with a 2 1/2 year-old and a four month old. It’s not too heavy, easy to assemble and disassemble, and it’s aesthetically beautiful. It is a little difficult to turn in doorways because it is longer with the second seat on the front, but it’s not terrible. I also don’t particularly care for using the Mockingbird organizer that straps to the handles with the double because with the baby’s seat at the top near the handlebar the organizer does not hang like it did on the single. It’s basically sitting inside the baby’s seat. But overall, it’s a perfect stroller and I highly recommend. We have the pink and green canopies, and I will say the green one is not 100% true to picture in the listing. Maybe look at pictures of the canopy from other customers, and not company shots.

While we are still awaiting baby's arrival, our mockingbird stroller has been great on our test drives.

Love this stroller. It's easy to maneuver, can be opened and closed one handed, and is light enough that I could lift it safely a few days postpartum. We use it with a car seat from a different brand, and it fits perfectly. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a cup holder.

Our son is barely three and doesn’t really fit the stroller. His head hits the top shade and it’s cramped.

It’s pretty and everything, but when pushing it keeps leaning to one side making it so hard for me to push and my babies are only one it’s bulky and hard to clean

Overall I am pleased with our stroller. I can feel a difference in sturdiness and quality compared to previous strollers I’ve had. Easy to use and transform between single and double stroller. Some cons are the weight. It is the heaviest stroller iPhone, and also the bar that gets in the way of the basket below is annoying at times. I wish the bar wasn’t placed so low because it blocks the basket for diaper bags to fit nicely. Would still highly recommend the stroller to family and friends
Nice & strudy, but so heavy & bulky

It is a nice stroller and is a smooth ride. But it was very heavy and bulky as a double stroller. Also seats and attachments needed to be taken off to get it neatly in the car trunk. Ended up returning it and getting a lighter stroller.

We decided to purchase/upgrade our current stroller for the double stroller option. We looked around at others but they were priced high and we were trying to stay within a certain budget. The mockingbird help with several of our needs. It’s easy to fold and we loved the 2 seat option plus the skateboard attachment. It also has good amount of space to store things below. Definitely would have wished to have started with this stroller from the beginning of our journey!
So worth it!

It has been such great help to have this stroller to push both of my kiddos. It’s pretty easy to move around and not heavy itself. I do wish it had a specific traveling bag so I could check it in with peace of mind at the airport. Also for disclaimer, my oldest is 3 years old and she measures nearly 38 inches tall. Her knee caps touch the bar on the stroller, so it’s a little tight, but I think still reasonably the best double stroller!
Huge & Heavy

It's built nice, but it's enormous, even with just one single seat. It's very heavy, bulky, and hard to handle. Even though it's built nicely, if I could do this over, I would buy something else because it's so big and heavy. If forward collisions are a concern, get this, but if a person is pushing it then I would get something that is not excessively heavy and bulky like this. I could barely get it through the house door. There's no reason for it to be this bulky, it isn't bulky because something benefits from the added bulkiness, it's just super-sized to make it look like you need the largest SUV on the road to load it in. 'Merica!

My husband was skeptical buying it due to the price, I don't think he knows how expensive top of the line strollers are, but he loves it. It handles like a dream. We like to go "off roading" (in the grass instead of the sidewalk) with it.

Full transparancy: I've only had and used this stroller for about 2 months. But so far, I am loving it. Life really threw me through a loop when I found out my second pregnancy was twins when I already had a 1 year old. This stroller is a life saver. My first child still isn't able to fully understand the ride-along attachment, but his first time trying already went better than I thought it would, so I have hopes it's only going to get easier for him. My twins love the stroller and are constantly cozy enough to fall asleep on our walks.

I’m a first time mom and bought an expensive stroller that I ended up hating. This led to lots of research to make sure I got the best out there, and this stroller is definitely that!! It moves so smooth and easily, locks easily, folds and opens quick and easy. The basket is huge and holds tons of stuff, the seat is comfy and easily reclined or upright. I love that it’s also a double so that when the time comes I can have 2 babies in it. And to top it all off it’s GORGEOUS. I get so many compliments and I’ve recommended this stroller to so many people!!

Smoothest ride around and perfect for my two babies under 15 months. We live off a gravel road and it’s still a very smooth ride. The bassinet is amazing and so convenient. Would recommend to anyone who asks!!
