A: Hello. Thank you for your question. Mt. Olive Kosher Dill Pickle Spears are not fermented pickles they are considered "fresh-pack" pickles. "Fresh-pack pickles" refer to a type of pickle that is made by quickly adding a hot vinegar and spice solution to cucumbers and then sealing them in jars. Unlike fermented pickles, which are cured in a brine for a longer period, fresh-pack pickles are known for their tart flavor and crisp texture. We hope this answers your question. Thank you. - The Mount Olive Team

Q: Are these small enough for little tiny baby forks?
What are the measurements of these pickles?
submitted by Dumb - 2 years ago
A: Hello! They should be small enough. Size can vary quite a bit on pickles depending on many factors, but these are usually around 21 mm (0.83 inches) in diameter (or smaller). Length can vary. Thank you!
Guests appreciate the flavor and crunchiness of these pickles, often highlighting their suitability for snacks and sandwiches. Many enjoy the petite size, making them a fun addition to meals or charcuterie boards. However, some guests express concerns about inconsistent quality and the presence of artificial coloring, which detracts from their overall enjoyment. Despite these issues, the pickles remain a popular choice for those who love a good crunch.

These are good but the quality is inconsistent. If you’re like me and you love petite pickles but are selective, go inside the store and pick out your preferred jar. Don’t do the store pick up option.

Hard Skin
Skins were very tough not easy to chew. I had to actually cut it off. So it was wasteful. I also contacted the company I’m sure that’s not their standard.

My constant craving lol
The best pickles ever! Me and my toddler eat through at least 1-3 jars a week 🤣As a momma who developed SEVERE pickle cravings both during and after pregnancy, I can provide A tip for all the other crunchy pickle lovers- look for jars that have pickles that are about the size of your pinky instead of the teeny tiny or super big ones. They are the crunchiest and sooo good.)

Terrible
Ew gross! These are the worst pickles I’ve ever had. The chemical flavor made me repulsed, and after seeing that it has yellow artificial food coloring, that’s vile.

These have Yellow #5 dye
I bought these by mistake as they have that junk ingredient Yellow dye. I usually purchase the Mt. Olive pickles without that ingredient. My mistake this time. I wrote Mt. Olive asking them why they put Yellow #5 in some of their products but not others, as the products that do not contain this ingredient are BETTER overall. Stop it. Just stop it.

Mount Olive now worse than any house brand.
Mount Olive has went down hill. Mushy pickles. Whatever happen to quality control? A prettier label will not fix a bad product.

Tiny little dill pickles. Yummy! Our kids love them because they're so cute & tasty. Great for packing in a lunch or just having as a snack.

Maybe I got a bad jar?
I love pickles, but don't like these at all! The pickle chips are thin and curled around each other. And the taste is disapointing as well. Maybe I got a bad jar, but I won't buy these again.
