A: Thank you for your question. Mucinex® Children’s Cough and Chest Congestion orange crème Mini-Melts™ contain guaifenesin and dextromethorphan. Guaifenesin is not known to cause drowsiness. Dextromethorphan has been shown to produce drowsiness in some patients. The product cannot be considered non-drowsy due to the inclusion of dextromethorphan. For any additional questions, you may wish to consult with your health care provider.

The kids actually will take this and not give any pushback. They don’t like the liquid medicines but will take this and I feel it helps their cough a lot. I do not enjoy the artificial sweeteners however so hope they fix that

It worked very well with my son.a few days ago, he started to form mucus that he threw up bcz of the mucus. I got this to try them. After one day, he started to feel better . It also tastes good. You can also put it in your purse or backpack and take it when needed

Bring back the bubblegum mini melts
I recently bought this because I couldn’t find the bubblegum mini melts that my kids love. This is ok, but my kids hate it. They gag at the flavor and the taste. Bring back the bubblegum mini melts without the other junk in it.

Disopve dont chew
The granule packets are not intended to be chewed. They are dissolvable. Pour on the child’s tongue and let it dissolve a little. Then swallow and swoosh mouth with water or juice. They do help with congestion and lessen the cough. The cough can take about 3 good days with consistently taking the packets throughout the day. It helps form my child who will not take liquid medicines.

Game changer!!
My 4 yr old has not been able to keep anything down because he hates taking medicine that much. This was a game changer. I was expecting little balls, but it’s like powder. I told him this was like a pixie stix and he wanted to try it. We had no problems at all. I can’t say enough good things about it.

I went shopping at the other big box store that starts with a W, and a bug jumped on me and I got sick! I normally wouldn’t shop there but their printer ink was cheaper. Anywho, that night I felt my chest getting heavy and I knew I was getting sick. I chose the kid product because the adult pills are HUGE! I overall liked this product. Just don’t chew the granules! You will be sorry.
