The Munchkin Deluxe Bottle Brush features a patented suction cup base, so when scrubbing is done, you simply pop it onto the countertop to keep it upright, fast-drying and away from germs. The non-slip handle gives soapy hands a firm grip, and sturdy nylon bristles are tough on dirt, yet gentle on baby's bottles. There's even a convenient nipple brush inside the handle, making this brush equally suited for cleaning pump parts, valves, and other small bottle accessories, too. The Deluxe Bottle Brush keeps your bottle cleaning routine sanitary and your sanity intact, so you only need to worry about the bottle parts, pots and pans you can see, not the dirty stuff you can't.
I've owned this brush for years, they last forever and do not get moldy or gross. These brushes last as long as I need it to, I just replace it every so often as I would anything.
The spray thing...come on, seriously not even a big deal. The strong bristles clean the edges and bottom much better than softer bristles brushes would. I'd rather have clean bottles and cups, I've learned how to be careful when taking it out of a bottle with a narrow mouth.
Terrible cleaner. When you take out the brush from the bottle, soap sprays everywhere. It’s also too thick to clean pump parts. Doesn’t clean the bottom of the bottle because the trip of brush is too thick.
After washing the bottles with this brush I almost have to take shower myself. The brush sprays soap everywhere unless you pull it down and then everything around the sink is covered in soap dots. C’mon. It’s 21st century. Stuff like this shouldn’t happen.
Works with the Medela bottles just fine. It's able to get to the bottom to clean the entire inside. It does spray when you take it back out again, but I would think any round brush that you're squeezing into a bottle would do that. I've bought this brush for all three of my kids, so it obviously gets the job done.
I thought I'd spend a little extra on this brush in hopes that it would last longer than the ones with a foam top since those break apart over the span of a month or so. This broke in less than a week at the "neck" part. Do not buy.
We have owned several of these brushes for 8 years, 6 babies, and here are my thoughts: Yes, it can spray all over when you pull it out. Been there, done that. However, my ingenious hubby figured out that if you pull it out while in the basin of water, under water, viola! No mess. Granted, I'm sometimes in more of a hurry than I should be and forget... :-) We had tried other brushes before we figured that out, and always, the softer bristles and smaller diameter of those other brushes resulted in streaky cleaning inside the bottle at best. This one REACHES the entire inside of the bottle and cleans it. It's the only one we trust to clean the bottle well. Also, the smaller nipple brush is outstanding, for the same reasons. The suction cup is nice, I like letting the brush air dry standing up. Learn to pull the brush out under water and I can't imagine there's a better brush out there. I did notice when shopping for my sister's new baby that the nipple brush has changed designs and seems to be made without bristles?? Not sure about that so I'm just looking into that to see if I can still find the old style.
