Not your typical advent calendar!
If you want to get away from the standard advent calendar, this is a fun alternative. The items are high quality and the box itself is sturdy to last through the season as you work through the days. Highly recommend!

Neat calendar
This advent calendar is really neat. It’s a great way to get and keep a child interested in science. My son was excited for a new surprise every day. The projects inside are simple but interesting. The quality is also great.

National Geographic advent calendar
I received the National Geographic amazing science advent calendar from hey Bullseye in exchange for my honest review. This is a really cool Advent calendar. My kids are really into science experiments and I thought this would be perfect for them. We're going to wait until Christmas to start using this, but since I have to give a review of it we actually opened it up over halloween. This Advent calendar comes with some really incredible items. It Comes with gemstones, glow in the dark animals and actually you can do Hands-On experiments. It comes with really easy instructions and like I said the experiments are so much fun. And you can really learn a lot from them. I say this is a must for anybody who has kids that love science and love doing experiments. Not to mention it's a lot of fun opening up each little window to see the different experiments and animals or gemstones that it has for that day.

Fun Advent Calendar
My 6 and 8 year old kiddos loved this Advent Calendar. I'd probably lean closer to a 4.5 due to one of the experiments we tried not totally working out, but the kiddos insisted it was so much fun. Their only complaints were difficulties punching out the doors and that it was tricky to get some of the items out (we had trouble with the dinosaurs in the smaller areas). They loved getting to do science experiments. If you have more than one child working on this, you will need to have some extra eye protection. Be sure you have white distilled vinegar on hand because it is called for in some of the experiments. Maybe also have some baggies you can put leftover experiment packets in since at least one experiment said to use stuff from another experiment. We tended to do our experiments in a tray, just in case things got messy. The little booklet that comes in the calendar has all the information you'll need. It tells you how to use the experiment items found in the day's box or gives information on the item you found. My kiddos divvied up the rocks, dinosaurs, etc. and then leafed through the booklet to learn more about them. This is a neat calendar. The experiments are fairly straightforward. We did have to give extra time with the bouncy ball making experiment to get it to fully set, but the booklet did say that it may need more time.

Super fun but a bit messy!
My kids absolutely LOVED this, however, it is very messy so you need to be prepared for that. It comes with a lot of powders and liquids. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for that. I would still highly recommend it.

Fun advent idea
I love this idea for an adent calendar! Its not candy or little trinkets that get lost or broken immediately. Its fun little science projects you can do with your child(ren). My kids are 18, 16 and 13 and they were excited about doing the experiments together.

This calendar had some hits but a lot of misses
I was so excited about this advent calendar, and wanted to love it, but there were many issues with it. We opened day one and realized that some of the parts of the experiment and the instructions fell down behind the divider and was in another days compartment. We opened several other days with experiments but no instructions on how to do them! It made opening those days not very fun because we couldn't do them. Then on the last day we opened it and there was nothing. I looked closed and realize the divider had been damaged and the gift had fallen into another day as well! So the last day of the calendar we didn't get anything!

Science is cool!
Very excited to dig into this Advent Calendar this upcoming holiday season. My daughter is getting older and it’s becoming harder to find an advent activity that is still fun for her. This one looks like it has a little bit of everything and she is a science nerd, so I think she’ll love doing each activity.

Incredible Advent Calendar
An incredible advent calendar. Regular advent calendars can leave you with a lot of tiny plastic junk. This one is so different. It comes with activities and my kids were so excited to see the next project.
