This kit is so fun! It has all of the tools you need for experiments with beakers, droppers, goggles and more. It doesn’t have any of the ingredients for the experiments, you need to provide those yourself but all of the instruments are great quality. My children have really enjoyed this kit and like to play with it in the bath as well.

This is such an amazing kit for young science lovers. It can be done with household items and no need to purchase crazy ingredients. This is perfect for hot summer days or staying in on a snow day. I received this through the Hey Bullseye program for my honest review. Would recommend.

This is the chemistry set I wish my parents had gotten me when I was little. Just looking through the booklet of the different experiments had my kids (4 and 6) asking questions, challenging what they knew about the world around them. The cool, brightly colored tools are a hit, as well. The droppers are good to work on fine motor skills as a bonus. Good job, NatGeo!

My son and I have had fun doing these experiments. It comes with beakers, measuring spoons etc. and the instructions for the experiments, but you have to supply the ingredients. You can grow salt crystals, make your own paint, make a bouncy egg and other activities. It’s a nice kit to have for rainy days or when boredom sets in and you’re looking for something different to do.

The National Geographic Chemistry kit is equipped with everything you need even goggles, however it doesn't come with items to mix in. Si I had to look those up and see what we could use. We used baking soda and soda which made a big mess and then my kids uses the items to mostly mix soda I gave them in different colors. Kept them busy and curious.

My 10 year old and 5 year old enjoy this kit because it has multiple experiments that has different difficulty level so you can pick which one you want to try. It also list out the equipments and ingredients needed for the experiment. We tried the gummy bear experiment first and it was easy for both kids to do. Can’t wait to try other one soon.

This kit had some fun experiments to do in it; it was similar to another kit that we had in the past. My 7-year-old took the lead whole the two younger kids watched and enjoyed. It's good for a rainy day!

This chemistry lab kit has a good assortment of containers: beakers, flasks, droppers, measuring spoons, test tubes, safety goggles, magnifying glass, funnel and cleaning brush. It has everything you could possibly need for practice with volume measurement, transferring fluids, and some basic experiments. The suggested experiments in the activity book require additional supplies, so keep that in mind. Most are household items but there may be some you do not have on hand. I do wish the book provided thorough explanations for the reactions, but they’re easily searchable online for my older kids. My 10, 7, 4, and 3 year old did several experiments the first day we did it. My 7 year old especially loves it!

The kit comes with scientific equipments and a book which includes couple of experiments to do with the household items. Most of the ingredients are basic kitchen items that can be found in every household. The instructions are easy to follow and older kids can do it by themselves were as younger kids can do with help. This kit is a lot of fun with hands on experiments that my kids enjoy doing it. Overall its a great educational set for kids were they are learning concepts while having fun.

My kids (4 and 7) LOVE this set. It comes with a booklet that gives several experiment ideas - we tried one with rice and it didn’t work but honestly my kids can stay entertained with this kit, some baking soda, and some vinegar for over an hour. It’s good quality and comes with a nice variety of pieces. The only thing it’s missing (the reason I gave 4 stars) is a bag or “briefcase” or some way to store all of the pieces other than the cardboard box

This is a good beginner science kit for younger kids. Essentially, it teaches kids how to measure things. I was pretty disappointed to find it was just lab equipment and it didn’t come with any materials to do any experiments (even though the front of the instruction book mentions chemicals, for some reason). We didn’t have all the materials when we opened this kit, so my kids really couldn’t play with it until we went to the store. The experiments themselves are okay. They didn’t really excite my 9 year old, but my younger kids liked the ones we did, especially the colorful bathtub bubbles. We haven’t done all the experiments yet, but I anticipate we will get to them all soon.

The chemistry kit includes the tools necessary for your little ones to get started with chemistry experiments. This kit includes tools only as well as a booklet of experiments. Common household items are used. Some of the pages have very loose explanations of what is happening for the experiments but I kinda wish they explained a little more science. The experiments are fun and easy.

What a fun way to teach and be hands-on while letting their imagination run wild. Simple science experiments that require a small amount of items to complete. Mostly things you have in your home. This set provides the tools needed, from beekers, measuring spoons to magnifying glass and goggles. My kids loved pretending to be scientists during playtime, and this even made bath time fun. Overall, it's a cool set and a perfect idea to brighten your kids day.

This chemistry set is great. It comes with all of the test tubes, beakers, measuring spoons and droppers needed for the experiments. It does require the actual material for the experiments: food coloring, water, ice, etc. The experiments require mostly things you’d have around your house and kitchen. My kids have enjoyed the kit to far and learning about chemistry and science. It is a nice addition to my homeschool coursework for the year!

Fun chemistry kit for kids. My kids were eager to try the activities suggested. Additional items needed to complete most, though most are items typically available in one’s home. Held up well and can probably get a few uses out of it

This kit provides all the equipment needed for the experiments, but you have to provide all the ingredients to perform the experiments, which I was thinking it would include everything, but my 5 and 7 yr olds have enjoyed the few ones we have done so far. Nothing breakable either, all plastic

My kids keep begging to practice “science” and do more science experiments after using this jr chemistry set. It’s been so instrumental both as a toy and in using it in a homeschool setting- they don’t even realize they are learning. The only downside was not having all the ingredients for every experiment all at once but hey, that gives us a chance to try more later!
