Received this kit and within minutes it was opened and experiments were started with excitement. Our oldest (who is 16) has enjoyed doing some of the experiments with some of our younger kiddos (5, 7 and 9). The little kids especially love the googles and “test tubes” included and my five year old will play with those for pretend play, even with nothing in them!

This Junior Chemistry set is super, super cute! I got it for my soon to be 8 year old nephew and I wasn’t sure it would be age appropriate (too babyish) but I think it’s great! The directions are easy to read and easy for him to comprehend. They use actual science terms and really explain things well. Super cute and love that it encourages science!! Great gift for any kiddo, probably 5-10/11.

This is great. The beakers are just right size for little hands and both my older and younger kid came up with different ways to play with it. The experiments in the book were helpful, know that some require other ingredients (like baking soda and vinegar for the volcano). Learn from my mistake- put a rimmed cookie sheet underneath it if you're playing inside to keep the water contained. This was a hit at my house and I expect it to be played with for a long time.

This is a fun kids set that will inspire a love of science. My five- and seven-year olds love to use all the included materials. The experiments are simple but do require your own materials. I wish they included additional information about what was happening and why - my little scientists are very curious! I love that the tools can be used for play as well (in the bath, water table, cooking etc).

This is a really nice science set for little learners. The chemistry lab kit materials are all really nice quality and designed with little ones in mind. I like that everything reflects how the true materials look in an actual lab, without being overly childish or too kiddy. There are 25 different experiments you can do with everyday household items so it’s easy and hassle-free! Such a great set. I would buy these as gifts- highly recommend!
