Why would you make a mat like this
Maybe I just don’t know the proper way to use it, but the material is so rigid that it will not roll out flat at all. It just curls back up into a roll, so I had to put weight at both ends of the mat at first. Then I rolled it up inside out to try to make it flat. It worked, but the mat no longer has a flat texture. I have a cheaper mat that never has any of these problems.

Stylish and comfortable
This yoga mat is good quality and stylish. I like the cork feature. It is not super thick, but that's to be expected with the 5mm depth. I use this to do yoga at home and I am happy with it. Would recommend for the price.

Aesthetically pleasing and almost great
This mat is very aesthetically pleasing, doesn’t smell bad, and has good grip on the bottom. The only issues I have had is that the mat doesn’t unroll all of the way, so you have to weight it down which kinda sucks. This would be a good mat for staying in one place so it is never rolled up. You can’t try and unroll it by rolling it the other way because it makes creases in the thin cork that don’t come out, kind of like bending cardboard. The only other problem I have had is that it is slippery if you do not sweat. If your hands and feet are dry, they will slide around. This mat would be really good for high intensity or hot yoga where you sweat more. Also, I do wish it came with a strap. Otherwise I really like it and I think the pros outweigh the cons of having this mat.

No Slip
My hands get so sweaty—this is the only yoga mat I’ve tried over the many years of doing yoga that my hands do not slip. Love the look as well. Sure, you have to roll it in the opposite direction a few times for it to lay almost completely flat but it’s well worth it!

I've been using this mat nearly every day for almost a year. The surface feels great, and the grip underneath has never slipped. it's not heavy at all, and it provides enough cushion that i can't complain. It's mildly rigid, but after a bit of use, the surface breaks in and it lays completely flat. I've been spoiled by the brainfeelgood surface the cork provides, and i don't think i'd be able to go to a rubber or foam surface in the future. I'm not sure how this would hold up in hot yoga.

Gross smell
I was so excited about this cork mat because cork mats are all things good! No cleaning, antimicrobial, natural, good for the environment… this wasn’t my experience with this mat. After two hot yoga classes, my mat has permanent sweat marks and smells like hockey pads. I’m so sad but hoping it was just a bad batch or maybe it’s just this brand, because everyone else I know with cork mats have not had this happen.

I cannot decide on this mat. It’s so comfortable, and looks amazing, but it’s functionality is lacking. First off, it NEVER FULLY UNROLLS! Which is extremely irritating. It makes it hard to plank or do push ups. It does get a little slippery when wet. But remember, it’s very comfortable.
