We provide free recycling bags which can be added to any Nespresso order placed directly through Nespresso online or by phone. Each prepaid recycling bag holds 100 Vertuo or 200 Original capsules. When the bag is full, you can drop it off at your local UPS Store or UPS Drop Box location. You can also pick up blue recycling bags from any of our Nespresso Boutiques. These bags do not include the UPS shipping label, however, and may be dropped off instead to the Boutique for recycling. The layer that forms on top of each brewed coffee is a combination of coffee and air called the crema and is naturally created during the extraction process. Crema is a sign of high-quality coffee and has been a signature feature of our espresso. It does not contain any dairy or additives and will gradually subside as you enjoy your coffee. As each blend brews according to its own unique parameters, there is no way to adjust the amount of crema that forms. The VertuoLine machine was designed to produce crema on both the Espressos and the large-cup coffees as the coffee is gently extracted using our patented Centrifusion™ technology.
