Q: How do you prevent leaking? It worked really well the first few days, but now spills out milk every time we use it. We clean both the adapters, base, and plastic rings every time but doesn't change

I recently purchased the New Munchkin 98° Digital Bottle Warmer, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. I will be initiating a return for a full refund, and I feel compelled to share my feedback to help potential buyers make an informed decision. Regrettably, this product has a significant flaw – an alarming tendency to leak, even when using a properly fitted bottle. This not only results in wasted mama's hard-produced milk but also creates an additional cleanup hassle. Approximately 80% of the time, the bottle warmer fails in this regard, leaving users with a hungry baby and a mess to contend with. Despite the allure of its promise to quickly heat milk to body temperature, the persistent leaking overshadows any potential benefits. The device's functionality, when it does work without leakage, is commendable and aligns with the value one would expect at its $52 price point. However, the frequency of leaks is a major setback, rendering the overall product performance unsatisfactory. In conclusion, I strongly advise against purchasing the New Munchkin 98° Digital Bottle Warmer. The recurring issues with leakage make it an unreliable and frustrating investment, and there are better options available in the market. This has been a God send since we’ve had our baby. This first month is exhausting and the simplicity and quickness of being able to warm up a bottle right next to the bassinet for those late night/early morning feedings is phenomenal. I see a lot of reviews talking about the gaskets/seals not working, I have not had that issue per se, just carefully wash them and try not to pull on them too much so they don’t stretch out. It’s a rubber piece, and with warm water, common sense would tell you that pulling on warm rubber too hard would obviously stretch it out so it would no longer fit the device… just be mindful when cleaning..

This worked perfectly for us for maybe a week or two and now it leaks every time. Wasting my breastmilkz Glass bottles seem to work better on it but it leaks every time. But I have to warn my breast milk and haven’t found another bottle warmer.

got this as a gift and I use dr brown bottles with it and it leaks, waisting my breast milk. They like to tell you too make sure the seals are laying flat and to make sure it's clean that is not the case. I've seen videos and only seen no spill with the munchkin bottles but with other bottles it spills.

Contrary to what other reviews say that it does not leak, when put together properly, It does in the leak. This is because the main seal warps after washing it. And no, I did not wash it improperly. I washed in warm water with soap by hand, not sterilized heat. I am beyond frustrated after a long day on the road and meeting to feed my baby’s that I am now splattered with milk because of a crappy seal and my babies are still hungry until I can get to a place to warm the bottle.

We have had this bottle warmer for over 2 years, warming up water for formula first, and milk for the past year and a half. We haven’t even had to replace the silicon ring that we always use- to fit the avent bottles. We just take good care of it, keeping water out of the power intake, washing it clean with soap and water. It has had some funky moments where it doesn’t stay on for long after warming up to temp, but other than that it’s been great!

I love this warmer! Works perfect and is pretty quick. It DOES NOT LEAK if you have the rubber washer on and DO NOT SCREW IT ON TIGHT. Just screw it on until it’s on.. don’t tighten it too much. That’s what causes it to leak! I was getting so frustrated with it leaking until my husband showed me I needed to use the washer and just screw it on normally and don’t tighten it too much. Works perfect every time since. Cleans well for me too. Would recommend 10/10!

We never had any issues with leaking. It was way faster than other warmers and all you need is an outlet so made it super portable. Also liked not having to sit there and watch it. It self regulates the temp even if you’re not standing there to monitor.

It worked fine for the first week but now it pours milk out every time we heat it. It does heat evenly but the seal sucks because the bottle has to be upside down. Wouldn't recommend this product for that reason alone. And yes, we're using the O rings and the correct adapter.
