A: The cord has lead wires as many appliances do. Wish the regulation exempted the cord to appliances. This product more than any I’ve seen is made with glass with silicone lids which are designed for storage use only and no other nasty chemicals we don’t want in our food. Thank you Ninja products.

A: The containers are made of borosilicate glass with BPA free plastic handles, the adapter is BPA free plastic and metal. The crisper plates are made of aluminum with a nano-ceramic coating. The lids are BPA free plastic.

Very convenient and easy to use. Works great for frozen foods like fries and tots, if you like them extra crispy. My one big complaint, after the first use one of the silicon nubs melted and stuck to the side of the glass, now the crisper tray won't stay even and flops around and food doesn't cook even.

There is a defect in this product. The rubber feet on the cooking plates are required to stabalize the plate as it rests against the cooking container walls during cooking. However, the feet are held into place by a tiny silicone button that falls of during cooking. I've had this air fryer for less than 6 months and I am already having to purchase new cooking plates due to missing feet. The company does not include this in the warranty so replacement will cost $25 or more everytime a foot comes off to replace the missing foot. They won't send silicone feet separately despite being aware of this design flaw. Google it! Many people had the feet fall off from light use. I don't make reviews often but felt it important to warn others that this product may not last long or may require routinely purchasing new cooking plates as the feet begin to fall off.

I used my Ninja Crispi to reheat half of a club sandwich and fries and the result was a fresh crispy meal just as good as when I ate it at the restaurant. I enjoy being able to air fry small amounts of food with little effort. This appliance is a game changer!!

After a few weeks of trying out different things and watching some videos on even more, I've been very happy with the Crispi. From cooking roasted potatoes to bacon, pork chops to chicken, and it makes reheating everything so much better. It's quick, evenly cooks through foods, and is easy to use and to clean up.

I love love love it! I've used it every day. It's incredibly convenient to use. Cooks everything perfectly. Super easy to clean and store. I love the big and small container options. Comes with a great recipe and instruction book. I couldn't be happier. Don't hesitate just buy it. I do want to add that it isn't for if you're cooking for a whole family. I just use for myself and it's perfect in every way.

I am a flight attendant and I purchased this so that I could heat up my food in the comfort of my room, on layovers, and not have to either wait 45 minutes to 1 hour for my food to heat in my Hotlogic or go to the hotel lobby to use the microwave. I have to admit it was nice heating my food up in my PJs with no one looking at me crazy. My only complaint is the heating unit is a bit bulky. If Ninja could figure out how to slim it down I am sure almost every flight attendant would own one. It heats food quickly and thoroughly, no hot on the outside and cold spots in the middle. All in all I love it I just wish it were a little more “portable”.

Have only used this for the last week and a half. I love cooking with the Crispi. It's a learning experience getting the food cooked just right to my expectations but the food is tasty and I get to eat up my mistakes! Clean up is easy and so much easier than with the old larger air fryer machines. Loving this machine!
