Q: Can it run Minecraft?

submitted by Smoothbrain - 3 months ago
  • A: Yes, it can in fact run minecraft

submitted byI can read - 2 months ago
  • A: Heck yes it can. The original switch can run it, and this new one has much better processing power. It will run Minecraft with ease.

submitted byXander Yacktman - 2 months ago
  • A: Hi Smoothbrain, thanks for reaching out about Nintendo Switch 2 Console While Minecraft has not yet been confirmed for release on the Switch 2, it is very likely it will be available in the future as more games are announced for the console. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: Do we know the largest sized SD card that is compatible with the switch 2?

submitted by Joe - 3 months ago
  • A: Up to 2 TB microSD Express card.

submitted byITALIANREDDNEK - 3 months ago
  • A: Keep in mind that the SD cards for the original Switch are rated a slower speed than the microSD Express cards specified for the Switch 2. The appropriately rated cards will have an EX symbol on them.

submitted byPaul - 18 days ago
  • A: The Nintendo Switch 2 supports microSD Express cards for expanded storage, accommodating capacities up to 2TB. However, microSD Express cards larger than 1 terabyte are not currently available.

Q: Is it a worthy console which can keep up with its competitors like the ROG ally

  • A: Does the ROG ally have mario kart?

submitted byAcaraxDumb - 2 months ago
  • A: Hi Acarax, thanks for reaching out about the Nintendo Switch 2 Console The question of whether the Nintendo Switch 2 is a "worthy" console that can keep up with competitors like the ROG Ally is complex and depends heavily on individual priorities and what one looks for in a gaming handheld. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day between 7 am and 11 pm CST.

Q: Does normal switch games like smash bros work on the switch 2?

submitted by new_zland - 5 days ago
  • A: Hi new_zland, thanks for reaching out about Nintendo Switch 2 Console Yes, most likely Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and other regular Nintendo Switch games will be playable on the Nintendo Switch 2 due to its backward compatibility. Nintendo has stated that the Switch 2 will have near-complete backward compatibility with original Switch games, including both physical cartridges and digital downloads. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: How long does the nintindo switch 2 battery last

submitted by Mom of 2 - 8 days ago
  • A: Hi Mom of 2, thanks for reaching out about Nintendo Switch 2 Console According to official Nintendo specifications and early user reports, the Nintendo Switch 2 has an estimated battery life of approximately 2 to 6.5 hours. There are a few things to keep in mind however, such as the more graphically demanding the game, the more it will drain the battery. Also settings like brightness, volume, etc. can all affect the battery life. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Absolutely Terrible Experience – Never Again!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered a Nintendo Switch 2 from Target, excited to receive it as a gift — only to have that excitement completely ruined by both Target and their pathetic delivery partner, OnTrac. Two weeks passed and still no package. No updates. No explanation. Just silence. I reached out to Target customer service multiple times, and all I got was the same canned responses with no real help or urgency. Their reps clearly had no idea where my package was or how to actually resolve the issue. Completely useless. As for OnTrac — the absolute worst delivery service I’ve ever dealt with. No tracking updates. No customer support that’s reachable or responsive. It’s like my package entered a black hole. After endless back-and-forth and zero accountability from either company, I finally gave up and got a refund. But by then, the damage was done — the opportunity for the gift had passed, and I was left frustrated and disappointed. Target should be ashamed of partnering with such an incompetent carrier. And if this is how they handle missing high-ticket items like a Nintendo Switch, I can’t imagine what happens with anything else. Never ordering from Target again, especially if OnTrac is involved. Do better.

Someone at target will probably steal your switch. Not only did target delay the shipping, someone over there sent a switch carrying case instead of an actual switch. Don't trust target delivery.

Sleek, fast, high quality system. Ignore the reviews of people complaining about not owning the console or games, etc. Those reviews are based solely on Nintendo updating guidelines to say you can't hack into their operating system and play pirated (illegally acquired) games. This console is a significant upgrade to the original switch and has a myriad of potential, although it is currently minimal due to its newness. Mario Kart World is definitely worth it though and will allow for hours of family friendly fun.

Never got the item when I stayed up until 2 am to preorder it. I waited years for the switch 2 to come out and target cannot even guarantee preorders. Other retailers were able to deliver on the day of release. My package was marked delivered yet UPS has not even received the item to ship. My one chance to actually get a switch two. Not ordering through target again.

A TRUE hybrid console, not simply a mobile that mirrors display...

Chindian - 6 days ago, Verified purchaser
Two weeks with the Nintendo Switch 2 and I can honestly say I am impressed. The hype is real and the skepticism on it’s performance was unjustified. Tech reports have now pinged the system as about a PS4 Pro when handheld and a Xbox Series S when docked. For gamers like me, this is great. I can now admit that I generally disliked the original Switch. I did so much that I avoided it for a good 3 years after its release due to the fact that I found it simply a “band aid to the Wii U”. Despite poor sales, I thought the Wii U was a decent home console. It had its expected solid Nintendo 1st party games, but where it failed was because it fell into a niche few wanted. Everyone who had a Wii didn’t care to upgrade to a “better Wii”. it was neither a powerful home console or true mobile console, especially because the DS still existed. Then the Switch 1 released as a band aid to the Wii U with several accompanying ported Wii U games in its 1st year as well. When docked, the system did not increase in power. The battery life for a handheld was poor. The joycon controllers were incredibly cheap and unreliable. The only reason I even purchased a Switch later was because I bought a Switch Lite, using the console for what I always thought it was- a Nintendo DS successor that happen to support mirror TV display. But I always missed Nintendo “home consoles.” Then the Switch 2 released and everything feels fine tuned, smooth, and very much like a mid tier hybrid console. It’s not as powerful as a Xbox Series X or a PS5, but to buy one of those plus something like a top spec Steam Deck, you’ll pay $1,200 for both. Nintendo Switch 2 is $450. Nintendo Switch 2 is a solid and quality peice of hardware that is a true hybrid and an affordable best of both worlds unit. There’s a reason it sold over 3 million consoles in its 1st week of release. I rate it an A.

I ordered a Switch 2 system and received an empty box on delivery day! It was delivered to a secure locker, so something seems to have happened during the delivery process. When I called customer support, they didn't seem to know what could have happened. Also, no refund available!
