[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This system is great for those of us with elderly parents or loved ones and provides an excellent peace of mind! It’s also great for those with children, those with disabilities and more. The system itself is well designed and durable, super easy to set up. It’s like having an additional set of eyes watching out for your family even when you can’t be there in person, if you have to leave home for work for example. The motion detection is amazing for those at risk of falls. The 24/7 monitoring, two way communication, and caregiver notifications are amazing and so helpful. There is a monthly monitoring fee if you choose to continue the services, but honestly it’s completely worth it.

Just installed a Nomo system for my 94 year old mother-in-law. In general the system works well, but there are many quirks: first the list of "Rooms" is quite limited and odd. For example there is only one bedroom, no basement or laundry room, and inexplicably a room named "window". Then there are the "Goals," assigning sensors to goals is quite unintutive. For example, tags in "Bathroom" won't work in the regularity goal, while tags in "Bathroom 2" do. For the mobility goal, for some unknown reason, only tags in the kitchen willl work, by design, I'm told. That said, I DO like the system and hope that future releases will allow you to customize the room list and allow you to assign any sensor to any goal.

Having this in their house has helped them stay independent in their lives and help keep the family worried free. This kit includes the hub, satellites ( 2 motion and sound sensors with light indicator, and 4 tags (motion sensors with alert buttons). These tags are wearable, which is very convenient. When setting this up, it takes 3 easy steps. Once we downloaded the app, we were able to check on them whenever we wanted. We definitely recommend this product for families with elderly family members.

This is a game changer! I bought one for my grandma and it’s helps keep our family informed without the anxiety or worry if she is ok. We can finally have our independence back and so can she.

The monitoring plan is relatively inexpensive considering the peace of mind it gives. The satellite detection system is less intrusive than cameras and does so much more than the standard fall detection device.

My mom recently passed but I wish I had this as while I was her caregiver there were times I could not sleep because I worried. We tried other devices but they didn't make it easy for her to contact us (which Nomo does). She would have loved the fact that there are no cameras to ensure her privacy. This is a must if you are a caregiver or worried about someone being on their own.

It has allowed me to keep tabs on my parents while still giving them their independence. I'm able to monitor if any of their daily routines are missed, for example not taking their medication. I received an alert when that cabinet door had not been opened. It was easy to then provide my parents a gentle reminder that they needed to take their medication. I'm excited to continue to use this system with them!

It’s easy to install, compatible with Apple or Google products and the video quality is great! We tried out the motion detection in particular in several instances and all were spot on. It seems to be well made so durability is not a question! Overall we are very pleased! You don’t want to need something like this but so much better to be safe than sorry!!

This can give you some peace of mind and comfort knowing your loved one is still moving around to their favorite spots, and you don’t need to be spying on them or checking in daily. Just place the pieces on furniture and as they walk past, you will be alerted. There are other features available for a price, like 911 capability…wearing a necklace in case of a fall and your loved one can’t get up.

Over this past year, my senior age mother-in-law has experienced several health issues, and undergone surgeries. We want her to be able to live as independently as possible, for as long as possible, and this Nomo Smart Care System should allow that to be a true reality for her. Unboxing and setup was a relatively straightforward procedure. Of course, a monthly cost for the monitoring service is required, but the expense is more than worth it for the piece-of-mind this home-care system provides. While the cost might perhaps be prohibitive for some seniors on a budget or with limited income, this was 'doable' for my mom-in-law. Otherwise, the option is there for that cost to be paid by the caregiver family, if need be. After installing the Nomo Smart Care App on each of our mobile phones, following the instructions to setup all the devices around her home, and spending some time customizing the app settings to our specifications, the system pretty much does the rest. Optimal positioning of each motion and sound sensor was key, and required a bit of 'trial and error', but we wanted to be certain all was "good to go." Several features really fit our, and her, needs. Automatic 'real-time' alerts and updates, having those handy alert buttons on each device (placed specifically within reach just "in case"), and there being 24/7 911 dispatch ready should an emergency event happen. And the video in real time is really helpful to check in on her Of course, maintaining our loved one's privacy and making sure her personal data is secure, was of utmost importance to us, as well. That said, we're reasonably confident of this even after just a short time using this home-care system. My mother-in-law seems quite pleased, so far. The Nomo Smart Care System affords us a level of assurance and support during the time we are not able to be there in-person. It is our opinion that this full-time "electronic caregiver" monitoring system helps provide our loved one with an overall better quality of life.
