    I appreciate the sturdiness of the lid. It's not flimsy compared to some, but this one is very sturdy plastic. It also has enough space for fingers to grab it, and even after it has been used in the microwave, it is not burning hot due to the heat. And it's easy to clean too! As with all microwave lids, it's recommended to wipe or wash right away so there isn't leftover food stuck to it. Would buy again for a backup and recommen to anyone!

    The manufacturer glues a plastic tab of the covers so that they can be displayed on a rack in the store. The tab is thin plastic and is almost impossible to remove, and once removed leaves a lot of glue residue (which cannot be health to infuse your food with). So you have a choice, leave the tab of, which will probably melt in the microwave, or ugly glue residue, which I imagine both of which will outgas substances).
