The story begins with the author's terrifying Skydive accident that left him with a broken neck and paralyzed from the neck down 5,000 feet in the air with five minutes to live and make peace with his death.

The story then weaves through the horrifyingly intense attempt on his life when he was undercover as a Detective working for the Drug Enforcement Administration and his wildly entertaining law enforcement stories while Gary was trying to beat the odds and overcome being a quadriplegic as he struggled to return to everyday life and ultimately return to his passion, Skydiving.

This is a classic hero story, fighting against the odds, falling, getting up, fighting on, and learning the meaning of life along the way. This true story delivers. The reader experiences all their emotions as Gary tells the story as if you were sitting around a campfire while listening to him talk. You will feel as if you were there with Gary at times.
