[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a 9x12 rug, and a 9x12 rug pad. The rug pad definitely makes the rug more cushioned under our feet, which is nice. However, the rug pad was 2-5 inches longer on both sides than the actual rug, so we had to trim it down. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying given we purchased two products of the same size from the same brand.

The pad has small grips on one side for the floor and different grips on the other side for the rug. It keeps the rug in place and gives it a nice cushion.
