[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this rug during a sale, and I think for the material type (wool and cotton) and being hand tufted, this is a great rug at an unbeatable price. I was hoping the chestnut color would be a reddish-brown or at least a brown with some red undertones like in the second manufacturer picture, but I am slightly disappointed. The color seems to be more of a true medium brown. It’s not bad, just not exactly what I was hoping for. I kept it and I think it matches my motif overall, just know this definitely a true medium brown color not reddish brown.

This is the worst smelling rug I’ve ever had. We’ve had it laid out for almost 2 weeks and it still smells horrendous! We’ve put vinegar in the room, sprinkled baking soda on it daily and it still smells disgusting. We are going to try to keep it since it was quite daunting to lay it but I would NEVER recommend it!

It smelled pretty bad and I had to return for this reason. Someone mentioned it smelled like manure in the room it was in. Kept for a couple weeks thinking it would get better but it actually got worse over time. Sheds a little as well but the main issue was the smell.

Absolutely do not buy this rug! It has been shedding for months and I can’t get it to stop. I have to vacuum constantly and it still doesn’t help. I reached out to customer service thinking maybe I received a defective rug and they were no help at all. Beautiful rug but totally not worth the headache!
