I have both, actually I have the magic bullet, the nutribullet, dessert bullet and the vitamix and blendtec and stick blender. They all have their uses. I love my magic bullet for small blendings like dressings, parsley etc, The nutribullet great for individual smoothies (magic bullet not good for smoothies) and vitamix and bledtec for heavy duty blending like hot soups.

Strong Motor, looks good, not sure on the tabs
It does a good job at making smoothies. I do find the drying process a bit fiddly since the base has lots of little curves which makes it longer to dry or be able to wipe dry. Motor seems strong. My only worry is the plastic tabs in the cup. Wonder how long these will last before snapping.

So far so good., Not as heavy duty as older ones
I bought one last week after my friend leant me her one, which is a few years old and fantastic . This new one is definitely not as solid or heavy duty as my friends one, but I am believing it's robust . 3 days, once daily use, no issues I only blend for 7 to seconds at a time , lots of liquid and it's done. Instructions clearly state not for ice crushing, or blending nuts, so won't try that.

What happened?
My first nutribullet lasted over 10 years of almost daily use, making smoothies. I really liked it and thought it was great. It got knocked over and cracked, so I bought an identical replacement. It lasted a month and just quit, period. Has its quality declined that much?
