Not worth it
I bought the black color and thought there would be more pigment but the color is spotty and only sticks to certain areas of the lip. The more you apply to fill in the gaps the worse it gets. I would maybe use this over a matte lipstick the same color. BUT... this makes for a great lip stain! If you apply several coats and blot to remove, it will add a stain to the lips. The black gloss gave me a reddish mocha color stain.

Halloween nightmare on the lips.
I bought this in 55 licorice for halloween. I applied it over the top of a liquid lip and I did not like it. I actually brought it with me to a professional job and this slid right into my lip creases and blead out onto my mouth. I returned it even though it was so cheap. Maybe the other colors woudl be better, but this formula bled terribly and with the dark colors like this, it is unforgiving.

NYX’s butter glosses are affordable and can be found in most drugstores! I personally own the shade spiked toffee and it’s an autumn staple. There are a range of shades and applicator evenly distributed the gloss on the lips. A little bonus is that it has a pleasant sugary scent as opposed to the normal lipgloss smell.
