It feels slightly hydrating while simultaneously feeling dryer than the Sahara desert. Other than that, very affordable & it smells really good. Definitely sticks true to the matte part tho. The packaging was good too like always lol

The packaging is very cute, and the actual lip balm smells amazing. The only downside is that I wish it were a little more hydrating.

The texture is like a lip balm and it feels nice on the lips. The color appears patchy and doesn't spread evenly on the lips. It smells like candy. The best attribute is the packaging. It is so cute!! This lip balm dried my lips. This product isn't for me but i could see it being popular with little girls that like to play with makeup.

It has a soft, twist-up applicator that makes it effortless to apply, even without a mirror. Texture & Feel: It’s surprisingly creamy for a matte balm. It glides on smoothly and feels hydrating on the lips, which I didn’t expect from something matte. It’s definitely more of a hybrid between a tinted balm and a matte lipstick, and it doesn’t cling to dry patches like other matte products sometimes do. Pigment & Wear: The color payoff is sheer to medium buildable, but not full-coverage. It’s perfect for those days when you want a soft flush of color. It does fade with eating/drinking, but it fades evenly and doesn’t leave a weird residue.

Pretty colors. Got all three pink ones. The texture is like silicone. Zero staying power. But okay to put over lipstick for a freshen up. I probably will not purchase again. On bigger, fuller lips it might look better.

I do love the scent and the packaging is super cute, but the formula just isn’t it and the texture is weird and feels too silicone-y, especially for what it’s supposed to be. I forgot to double check what ingredient that could be, but I digress I waited until the last minute to do this review because I’ve tried SO many different ways hoping I could make this work. Using an applicator, a brush, my fingers, blotting, so many ways and it just isn’t great compared to similar products I have already. It comes out patchy, crumbly, and isn’t easy to spread around and blend. For the sake of a review I’ll spend time playing with it to try and make it work, but every day I don’t want to spend 20 minutes on a lip stain when I have so many others I can just toss on and go. The lasting power is okay if you’re not eating and drinking.

This SMB06 Soft Smile tint it gives is like no other product I have experienced - blending with your natural tone to give a airbrushed look - it is not just 'gone in an instant' like lip gloss or wearing away unevenly like lipstick. I’ve always loved the look of matte lipsticks but couldn’t stand how dry they make my lips feel, and this one is completely different.
