A: The sugar is not added seprately. Instead the way that they process the oats breaks it down into an "oat sugar" which is why they have to classify it as an added sugar on the nutritional label.

In fact, Grain Millers has required that their farmers not use glyphosate on their oats since 2015 and conducts random, weekly sampling and testing to validate their farmers' compliance.
