OGX Blonde Enhanced + Purple Toning Shampoo - 13 fl oz

I've tried other purple shampoos over the years and ok some may have worked better then others or not at all but all left my hair feeling so gross and having to extra condition afterwards. This stuff worked for me and makes my hair feel amazing!! It did not dry my hair out at all and I absolutely love that!

I recently bought this shampoo to tone my freshly lightened hair. Pros: very pigmented, nice list of ingredients (NB: it has proteins, which for me personally is positive), easy to apply, heavenly smell, affordable price. Cons: none I can think of; it may be a bit harder to find than other drugstore shampoos but if you live close to a Sally's you'll be fine. Also proteins may not be everyone's favourite as it really depends on the hair type, but usually treated/processed/damaged hair may benefit from a bit of protein.

Smells good, made my hair look white in some places though.

after bleaching for forty minutes no toner used it turned slightly orange after using shampoo and drops

I like the way this shampoo makes my hair feel. I don't notice a drastic difference like I do with other purple shampoos but I think it works better otherwise.

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to deposit enough pigment to make my hair less yellow, but it does have a great fragrance and makes my hair shiny & clean without weighing it down. I stopped using OGX awhile ago due to an ingredient that was causing my scalp and neck to become extremely itchy and caused a lot of hair to fall out, but decided to give this shampoo a try since they changed the ingredients. I've been using it for a month now, and it's not causing any problems. Even though it doesn't help with toning my hair, I'll likely repurchase it. Only thing I didn't like is the extremely runny consistency.

I wanted to try a new blonde shampoo but I shouldn't have!!! I only used this shampoo probablt a total of 3 or 4 times before I realized it was causing my hair to fall out. clumps and clumps of hair. stopped using it about 2 months ago and my hair is still recovering and not the same. do not buy.

Even after using a lot several times and letting it sit in my hair, I didn't notice a difference.

This is a great, budget friendly purple shampoo that works and smells great! Lathers well and does the job. I use with the lavender conditioner with great results.

Keeps the brassiness out of my hair and smells yummy! Leaves my hair feeling nice & soft.

Love this shampoo. Works great! However, $2 price increase I don't love so much.

I bought this for my husband because he has gray hair and I thought he could use it to brighten it up. He only used it once! He thought it was too messy!

This purple shampoo worked SO good on my blonde balayage, naturally red, hair that every time I saw my family they would ask if I had my hair redone. This stuff WORKS!

I have oily hair and it made my greasy, but a lot of shampoos do. However, the product is great for blonde.

I have rated this five stars as I continually rebut this product. It’s always In my bathroom. I have naturally blonde hair which I do have coloured every few months to lighten it a little and this really helps to re brighten my hair. I will say however that I have to change my shampoo and conditioner regularly as it almost stops working on my hair but I do always go back to this product however I only use this a few times a month, and it helps maintain not only my colour but doesn’t strip my hair and make it feel dry when washed. I also love the biotin and collagen shampoo/conditioner by OGX, these are great products which can be used daily without the overuse of chemicals that lost shampoos have in them.

I mean it's definitely not the greatest shampoo I've used for my blonde hair but it's also not the worst. It makes my hair pretty soft. I wish I could have found the conditioner to go with it when I bought the shampoo but it is what it is.

First off, I usually use actual toner when I bleach my hair but I was in a pinch and this was all I had. Turns out, it works even better than most toners. In just 2 washes my hair was platinum, and with continued use had reached almost white toned perfection. It smells great and doesn't leave my hair feeling dry after either.

This product is small but can last a long time plus it’s so easy to use and work wonders! Just add a few drops to your fav shampoo or conditioner and poof, perfect colour again! The longer you leave on, the more toning effect you will see. It really shows the beautiful pigments of blonde in my hair so I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone with highlights/blonde hair. It’s also great for between colourings to keep your hair toned :)
