OPI Kyoto pearl: the color itself is great. idk why it's hard to find an opaque pearlescent white that doesn't look like you painted your nails with White-Out. this is actually opaque at 3 coats, which is good. it doesn't have any other colors in there like a pink sheen or blue sheen etc, it's really just pure white, but pearlescent, which makes it a "soft white". it is streaky like others mentioned, which is why you really need to do 3 coats so it looks good. I made the mistake of painting my nails while outside in very humid summer weather. I learned that this apparently makes the polish not cure properly. so, it chipped like crazy in less than 24 hours. I used a quick dry top coat but was shocked at how fast it chipped until I realized my mistake. I will try it again in normal indoor humidity

It is a beautiful metallic nail polish, but was able to see every streak and stroke when I was done. When the light hits it, it is stunning and the streaks are less noticable. I am happy to have the bottle I do now, but I likely won't be buying it again

It’s very streaky and you can see every brush stroke. It’s a nice color but definitely not a favorite.

Pretty pearl sheen. Really pretty as a top coat to give any color a pearlescent look. Can never go wrong with OPI.

The Kyoto Pearl is not the same color as the picture online it’s more of a gold color than White Pearl and came basically empty.

The color is nice although once you put a couple of layers on it peeled off really quickly and you need a couple layers because it’s so translucent.

Beautiful pearl color! Needed two coats, but is long lasting.

Great frosted nail Polish. Goes on easily and dries quickly … always wear it on my toes.

Love opi polishes! I got the Kyoto pearl as I am a glitter fan and liked the shimmer with the white for spring, unfortunately it was a bit streaky when dried.

Its ok. I think there is a massive market out there. This is as good as the best of the rest.

I've been buying and re-buying this particular nail color for sometime. I always come back to it, as it is an all time favorite of mine. Goes with all!

I am on my second bottle but I always start out with base coat and then a coat of Alpine Snow then top it off with 2 coats Kyoto Pearl. stunning results and it gets lots of attention. It looks so fresh and clean.

I find that no matter how many coats you apply, you can see every single brush fiber or stroke. The nice pearlescent finish tends to be marred by the obvious strokes.

I've used this polish since the Japan collection came out and immediately was a hit at the hospital where I worked. It is understated, but super feminine. I like to keep an extra bottle of this in my collection because of all my OPI's this one runs empty faster than the others because it is my constant toe polish even when wearing other shades on my fingernails.
