Orajel Mouth Sore Pain Relief Gel, 0.42 Oz

I enjoy all the "no-no" spicy acidic foods that can trigger mouth sores, and I suffer the consequences with canker sores that come on like a raging fire. The last one I had was so incredibly painful because it was in an area on my tongue that rubs against my teeth when I talk. My husband had longed begged me to try Orajel but for whatever reason, I thought "No meds, I'll just get through it with warm water & salt." He finally had enough of my nonsense and just went and bought it. So for the record: I am DUMB because just a little dab of Orajel and I had instant relief. It was a Wow! moment. Why did I wait so long to try this? Please don't be dumb like me and get relief for your mouth sore pain right now!!

Confusing directions. Instructs for “adults and children over 2” to take up to 4 times and also for “children between 2 and 12” to consult a doctor. Am I missing something?

I bought this today and used it instantly and it worked it did make my whole mouth numb for a minute but it is very soothing and cooling!!

Bought this a few days ago for a stubborn canker sore on my bottom lip. Doesn't treat it at all, just temporarily numbs the area which is nice for a bit of relief. Lasts 30 mins. at best and can't use more than 4 times a day.

Smaller tube, mostly with air in tube, exspensive, if prices are raised, tube should be filled at least.

Instant relief never had hard palate sore ,this oralgel is very effective

I use the mouth sore mouth wash! But the gel is great for quick relief!!

I was suffering for a couple of days then I saw on the internet medicine for ulcers. Went out to store immediately came home and put the jell on immediate pain relief. Now I can eat again.

I bit my cheek and ended up with a mouth sore, but a friend recommended Orajel for quick relief. I felt a lot of the uncomfortable feeling go away pretty fast, and it really helped me stop worrying about the sore while it had time to heal. For the price, I'm really impressed at the quality, and no weird flavor either!

Absolutely the worse. No instructions to open. Had to use a knife to cut off the top. Avoid this product !--

I bought this item to help with a canker sore. The first 3 minutes are blissful! The pain disappeared as it numbed my cheek and then my tongue as it traveled down. Then it completely wears off. I thought it was a fluke, so a few hours later I tried it again, really making sure I completely covered the sore. Same thing happened. This product is completely worthless.

I suffer from frequent canker sores and Orajel has helped me be able to eat and drink with less pain. This 3x medicated gel works instantly on contact to help ease the discomfort and pain associated with canker sores. I’m so thankful to have a product that helps ease the pain and allows me to eat! Not really happy with this. It makes my mouth so watery that I have to keep swallowing every few seconds and now it has worn off. I did use the Orajel Mouth sore mouth wash which is VERY GOOD

I got it because I had a terrible cankle sore in my mouth that hurt even when I'm not eating or drinking, so I got this and in a minute the pain when away! I know it's only temporary but still healps

I purchased this product about an hour ago to use on a canker sore that formed after I bit the inside of my bottom lip. It's progressively gotten larger and more painful over the last 5 days or so and needed some relief. I read reviews about it not "sticking" to the right area so I blotted the sore to dry it and then applied the gel, hoping to get it work on the appropriate area. I may have put too much on bc it did numb my tongue, but it also numbed the sore.... after burning the daylights out of it first! The numbness lasted until I got home from the grocery store where I purchased, so 8 minutes down the road. Now over the last hour it's been burning intermittently and has gotten more swollen and irritate and I haven't eaten or drank anything to cause it. I'm hoping the grocery store will return this useless purchase so I can get something that actually works!

I bought this yesterday after a prescription medication I had used previously for my canker sores was just not cutting it. A terribly painful canker sore had popped up inside my bottom lip. Stopped at the store and decided on this medication for the ingredients and the uses. I can honestly say, this has truly taken the pain away and the swelling has gone down tremendously.
