Oral-B Glide Pro-Health Comfort Plus Dental Floss, Extra Soft, 40m, 3 Pack

I have used this floss for years. I thought the floss I bought recently was just a bad batch because it was totally different. However, I read Oral B actually changed this floss. This new version is just as expensive but feels cheap and painful on your teeth and gums. Would not recommend!

We have used Glide Comfort Plus for years and years and loved it! But very recently P&G, Oral-B or Glide made the terrible decision to change the floss from something similar to thin teflon tape to a plastic string similar to fishing wire! It is absolutely horrible...worst floss I have ever tried to use! We usually purchase 4 to 6 at a time because we use so much of it. We will be looking for a new floss because we can't stand the Glide Comfort Plus anymore and will start using something from a different manufacturer that still actually looks and feels like floss!

I bought a three pack like I have many times before—only to make the horrible discovery that it’s a completely different product now. The texture feels like plastic and it’s difficult to get in and out of between your teeth. It also flings particles everywhere in the process. Gross! Plus it shreds into strips really easily when you use the cutter, which wastes floss. I hate using it now and would rather go back to the thin cheap brands than whatever trash this is. I have no idea why they changed a beloved product that didn’t need fixing. Don’t waste your money.

I don't know what happened to this floss I used for years, but the new version is horrible. It no longer slides easily between my teeth. I'm afraid I'm going to pull out a crown. My teeth have tight spaces, and this floss used to be perfect. This new version I had to throw away. All of the Glide flosses have recently been changed, and are absolutely awful.

They changed this product drastically. No longer the silky waxed gloss. It’s now ridged and hard plastic. Don’t waste your money.

I and my entire family have used this floss solely for YEARS. They've reformulated it for the worst. It's awful now - stringy, not flexible, rough on the gums, and less effective. There is absolutely nothing to recommend it, especially given the high price point. I used to be willing to pay the premium for a premium product, but this is junk. Nice going, Oral-B, you had a perfect product (and probably a cash cow) and you ruined it!

the new one is NOT good. it does Not work . gets stuck in teeth. not enough wax. . are you just trying to save money? it stinks. bring back the current one. I am VERY disappointed. really not smart to change a good product.

Been purchasing for years. Floss has changed and not in a good way. Feels like putting curl ribbon between your teeth. Will not be purchasing unless it changes back.

They changed it. It is horrible now and not worth the price. They should have the decency to change the name and design. It is totally different from before. Doesn’t “glide” and isn’t “extra soft”.

Oral B changed the way they make their floss and it’s now completely unusable in my opinion. Cheapest material ever and it’s very uncomfortable to floss now. As a dental hygienist who had been recommending Glide to all my patients, I don’t like this new product and I won’t be recommending it to anyone.

2 types (see photos). I've bought this before and it was extra soft but this isn't the extra soft one anymore even though the name still says extra soft. Did target mislabel it or did oral b change it? I think it's target. This one cut my gums

They changed this formula. It seems like the coating isn’t as smooth.

Totally changed the formulation. Thin, rigid, sharp, does Not glide, gets stuck and hate it. Need to try another brand now. Used to think it was great.

Not sure why they changed the product, but now it’s so bad. The material/texture is horrible. So plastic-y. Change it back!!!! Won’t be buying again unless they switch back to the old version.

Why did they change this?! This was the only dental floss I could use! It was soft and did a great job. Now it is stiff and has sharp edges! Whyyy????

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] its shape is flat so it's very easy to use to take out the remain food in the teeth. it has flavor of mint so it makes a fresh scent when i use it. the packaging is small so it's really convinient to bring.

What my other fellow reviewers have said.. this product changed for the worse. Quality is down. The floss is like a semi-transparent plasticky material and doesn’t glide smooth between teeth. Kinda hurts the gums. Before it was a solid white floss which was better material that was smooth to use. What happened?!
