If we could give Oral-B IO electric toothbrushes zero stars, we would! We bought two brushes, and one of them stopped working within a month. We had to contact Oral-B for a refund, wait for a return label, and then buy packing tape and a box to send it back to them. We are still waiting for our refund. This has been a huge waste of time. Our second toothbrush stopped charging last night, so it lasted only 1.5 months. We contacted Oral-B again, and this is what they told us: "Our 60-day money-back guarantee is limited to one refund per name, household, or address. We can, however, assist with the process of sending the brush to one of our service centers to get it back in working order." So, we can't get a refund for our second toothbrush because their 60-day policy only allows for one return per address! This is ridiculous! Two toothbrushes stopped charging or working within 1.5 months! We will never purchase from Oral-B again! Also, be sure to read reviews carefully—most of them received the product for free in exchange for a review!

I just spent for 400 for a TOOTHBRUSH. I've been using various manual brushes considered top of class. Sometimes I'd follow up a brush with a towel to get a super-clean-mega-supreme-deluxe. This doesn't require such efforts as my teeth feel rather S-Tier compared to prior methods. So far, worth it..

I bought this a few months ago and I hate it! It spits everywhere when I’m brushing my teeth. The brush heads have holes in them. Wish I’d never bought it! This morning, it sprayed my eyeglasses with toothpaste spit while I was brushing my teeth. It was way to expensive for this!

Honestly one of the best toothbrushes I’ve ever owned. I’ve been using the oral b line of toothbrushes for many years. I had the genius x for a while until after 5 years it took a poop and stopped working. Decided to give this one a try and it’s been great. Definitely takes some time getting use to the bigger head but overall my mouth feels as clean as a dental cleaning. Highly recommend

After lifetime use, I switched to OralB from sonicare about 6 months ago. I’m happy with the switch overall. The IO-10 is easy to use, packed with tech and cleans up well. The base does not always track the position of the brush head accurately, but the app is more accurate. IMO, the overall mouthfeel/clean is better than Sonicare, but I do spend more time brushing with the IO. The flow holes make brush head and base cleanup a breeze, just make sure to slightly tilt your head to prevent mess while brushing. Overall value/price is on par with similar level products from competitors.

I am sorry to say that this tooth brush is too aggressive! I now have to replace bonding that I had on a front lower tooth! Be very careful with this toothbrush. Use the lowest setting. Sensitive teeth is what I recommend.

It is a great toothbrush while it lasts. After about 4 months, the battery would charge to 100% in about 10 seconds and obviously die immediately when used. When charged for longer, the result was the same. Lots of other people seem to have similar battery issues. Not worth the money for a faulty product.

Bought this July of last year, so this review is months in the making. This thing is not worth the money. Brushing my teeth has turned into such a hassle. The whole time, water and toothpaste is pouring down the toothbrush. I have to hold my arm at an angle or else I get a mess running down my arm. I have to hold my head over the sink or else it pours down my chest. All this while just using a pea sized drop of toothpaste. I am on my second brush, so maybe 6 months in and I am seeing mold already growing all over the inside of the brush. This is absolutely disgusting. When using the app, the bluetooth is so wonky that it will show the left side of my mouth being brushed while I am actually brushing the right side. I don't even use it anymore and just count the time going by in my head. The only positive piece I have for this is that my mouth does feel clean after, but you can get the same feeling with a regular toothbrush.

I love the io brush. Outstanding daily clean but horribly frustrated with lack of retaining its charge. On rare occasion I may get 3 days with two or three brushes daily but often only 1-2 days for the same number of brushes. It’s very sensitive if anything touches the base and seems to discharge the rest of the battery.

All our Oral-B electric toothbrushes undergo strict quality checks, so while we're very glad to know you love your iO 10, we're surprised that it loses its charge like this and can understand why you'd be frustrated. Our brushes take between 14 and 22 hours to fully charge, and the charge should last for between 5 and 14 days of brushing sessions (when brushing twice a day, for 2 minutes each time). Over the years I have been using the Sonicare toothbrush on a daily basis but it finally quit on me. So I thought I’d give this one a try. I like the fact that it’s available in black and not just white, it looks cool. Secondly with all the technology these days it’s amazing how it works with the app and can detect and keep track of where you’re brushing and how well you’re brushing. And lastly but most importantly, it does just as great a job with the round brush head as the sonicare keeping my teeth smooth and clean everyday

After charging it though, I used it and could not believe how thoroughly clean my teeth felt. It felt like I had just walked out of my dentist’s office after getting my teeth cleaned there. The best feature I have found so far is that it lights up to tell you by color of the light if you are brushing too lightly, just right or too strong. There is a white light, green light and red light which tells you as you are brushing. It oscillates round which is what my dentist told me I should do and does a great job cleaning between my teeth! It also has a 2 minute timer so I know exactly how long to brush. The tooth brush charges up fast- in 3 hours. It comes with a great case for traveling which I love along with 4 brush heads. You can set it for daily cleaning, sensitive teeth or whiten. Also, with bluetooth, it integrates with an app on my phone that gives you coaching on how you are brushing, i.e., if you need to do more brushing in a particular zone in your mouth, etc. The only downfall for me is that I could not find a thorough set of instructions on how to set up the toothbrush. It’s pretty intuitive so I think I found most of the functions and maybe the directions are there and I just missed them but it would be a bit easier to have a full set of instructions easily accessible. (I did access the bar code but that seemed to take me to an over all Oral website). This toothbrush is a lot of money but for someone who is very particular about clean, healthy, white teeth, it is definitely worth it.
