Purchased less than a month ago. Will not charge no matter what. Tried contacting Oral B and can’t get any response. Going to attempt to return this to target. Luckily the target app holds the receipt but I have since gotten ride of the box.

I love this toothbrush besides it grows mold on the inside of the head and body part of the toothbrush! I always take the head off to let it dry but it still molds!

We're very sorry that you've been unable to get your new iO2 Series brushes to charge, Em. Our products and packages go through many quality checks and we try our very best to make sure that each one reaches you in perfect condition. To charge the toothbrush battery, place the toothbrush on the plugged-in charger, checking that the charger pin is in correct postion according to its shape when placing the toothbrush on the charger. During charging the on/off button is blinking green. Once it is fully charged the indicator light turns off. A full charge takes approximately 24 hours. Please know that after a deep battery discharge, the charge indicator light might not blink immediately; it can take up to 30 minutes. When charging, be sure that the brush charger is plugged into a live outlet, that is switched on if controlled by a switch, or is in the ON postion if using a GF outlet. Also, it's important that the charger is not used on a metal surface, as it can interfere with the charging process. We appreciate your letting us know that you're having this issue, and we’ll be happy to assist you, if you need further help. A few years ago My dentist recommended I should get an electric toothbrush Sonicare. I have been using it for a little over two years. My new dentist recommended to get an Oral B. So I recently purchased a io series 2. This unit is horrible, it says two minute timer. It does not shut off after two minutes not like my Sonicare. It just gives an extra vibration. vs the vibration it gives off during 30 sec quadrants. The neck of the head is way thicker than the Sonicare. And after ever use I have to pull off the head and clean it out I do not have to do that with my Sonicare. This unit was a waste of money I just hate it.

Brand new, right out of the box, the instructions say that it is ready to use. My toothbrush was dead. I tried charging it, it would not charge at all. I tried different outlets and trouble shooting it, nothing worked. I tried contacting OralB Support and received an AI response that was unable to connect me to a representative. I plan to return this toothbrush asap, it’s too expensive to not work.

Grows mold between the toothbrush head and the handle part so fast! I take it apart to clean the inside parts at least once a week, usually twice a week, and there is moldy nasty gunk inside. I think most of the other reviews were in exchange for a free toothbrush so they left the review before they knew it well. I’ve had this toothbrush for 8 months and feel like it brushes my teeth well, but it gets so nasty that can’t be food for you! I am a minimalist, clean person too.

Water and toothpaste can also collect on the brush head and handle, leaving a residue that varies in color depending on the type of toothpaste and water hardness. Rest assured, this buildup is not harmful and can be easily removed with a thorough cleaning. To help prevent it in the future, we recommend cleaning the brush head and handle after every use by rinsing the brush head with the toothbrush switched on. Then, turn the device off and remove the brush head from the handle. Clean both parts separately under running water. After My husband and I sonic toothbrush went bad at the same time (odd). We decided to switch back to oral B. He first purchased his in black color and seemed ok so then I went to the store and bought myself the same one but peach color. Got home and realized the charger cord for one is shorter than my husband’s charger cord ! Which I thought they were suppose to be the same and only difference was the color! Then I read that it should come charged, well mine didn’t even turn on and when placed it on the charger the charging light didn’t even turn on. So had my Husband return it and exchange for the exact same one in color peach. Well exact same issue! Charger cord is about 6 inches shorter than his and toothbrush was not charged and when plugged in, light would not turn on like how his black one does so I don’t know what’s going on but I’m giving up with this one at this point! Are they sending out defective ones or what? Now I have to return the exchanged one again tomorrow

I do love the fact that it is very gentle on your gums. The handle is so thick. The battery life is pretty good but it’s just not worth it for me. The price isn’t bad but buying extra toothbrush heads are.
