Please know that there’s nothing in our toothbrush components that would cause mold before use. Mold requires organic material to grow, which isn’t present in our brushes. While it’s rare, mold can develop after use if the brush is stored in a damp area or comes into contact with specific cleaning agents or soaps that can make the plastic porous. We thoroughly inspect all of our products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure you receive them in perfect condition. We want to share a few cleaning tips that might help reduce any buildup from collecting on the brush handle and brush head. 1) After brushing, thoroughly rinse the brush head with lukewarm water while the toothbrush is switched on to minimize toothpaste residue remaining on the brush between uses. 2) After rinsing, switch the brush off, remove the brush head from the handle, and clean both parts separately under running water. Wipe both handle and brush head dry with a soft towel. Then leave both the handle and brush head to air dry further before putting the handle and brush head back together.
