Flossing with pain
I understand that they had to change the product due to previously using teflon (a little concerned that had to be sued out of context), but the substitution is horrific. We didn't even catch it had been changed until we opened the new package and used it, and the new product was miserable. It is brutal on our gums, my gums personally felt like they were being cut and were sore long after I flossed. It bites into my fingers, is difficult not to fling saliva with due to how the string holds tension, and doesn't seem to clean between our teeth as well. I feel like I have to go through multiple times, which given that it hurts, is not pleasant. The flavor doens't really matter or seem impacted, but the texture and experience is awful. We buy the multipack and at this time, are throwing ours away and investing in a different company for our gums' comfort.

This hurts! I have used this for 10 years and I thought I purchased the wrong kind bc this hurts my gums, makes them bleed and falls apart! Horrible! Please change it back!

OMG I hate this floss so much! What happened? Why did they change it? It used to be smooth and made flossing easy. Now it’s painful AND the floss shreds??? It never did this before. They never should of changed the floss. Do not buy to. Not worth it.

I recently learned that heart health is connected to dental health and ever since I've been taking a serious look at how I floss and what is considered reasonable and feasible to keep my teeth healthy. I was able to floss out the day and keep this handy with me in my purse and in my gym bag and I keep it with me as I go throughout the day. It really feels easy to use, easy to maneuver in your mouth and floss without any issues. It does not snap and break like the old school floss and it definitely does not cause excessive bleeding because the texture is smooth and glides around your gums gently.

Formulation change
I have been using this floss for a while and recently ordered it again. The formulation changed, and now the floss feels very plastic-y and cheap. It no longer has the previous smooth gliding feeling.

I really like that you can actually see how much product is left that’s super convenient. It does a good job cleaning between the teeth without hurting the gums. The only thing I’m not sure about is the texture… it feels a bit too slippery. I’m not sure if it’s because of the material, but it makes it harder to get a good grip sometimes. Still, it’s a good quality floss overall.
