Bought this unit to tide myself over following oral surgery. It purées well as long as you add enough liquid. It struggled at one point, then I added more liquid and pulsed it. Gets the job done at a value price point. I have not had any difficulty cleaning the unit, as I clean it up right away. It has a cleaning setting I have not tried yet.

Had an Oster blender from Target for many years that was glass and worked perfectly until I accidentally ran it with a utensil inside (doh!). This one feels cheap, doesn't blend frozen fruit well, and the motor smells HORRIBLE - an overpowering odor of burning plastic. I want to return it but threw away the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine itself is like a hard plastic vs a glass container (that’s probably where the lost cost comes into play) still a pretty durable machine regardless of that. You can put ice fruits veg etc but just be cautious not to pack it full since it’s plastic not glass and the container is also smaller than the glass counterpart. Do your liquid first and then the fruit veg and then ice on top (says on the box) There’s 3 different options: blend/clean/milkshake Purée/icy drink/ smoothie Choo/salsa/ ice crush The machine isn’t too loud Just as easy to clean as the glass/bigger versions

Worst blender ever!!!

Its not glass its plastic first of all, does not lock, base sucks you have to hold the blender the entire time. Does NOT blend ice or frozen fruits at all. You have to keep readjusting. I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN THIS CRAPPY BLENDER!!!!!
