Q: Does the OG Dolls knees bend as they sit on the scooters? Do you have purchase certain OG dolls to use with the scooter?

A:Â Hi Sherri. The Our Generation line offers 2 types of dolls, posable and non-posable. The posable dolls have knees that can be bent and can sit on the scooters more snuggly. The non-posable dolls can sit with their legs straight out. Thank you. The Battat Team

The knees do not bend, but the scooter is designed for the knees not to bend. The edge of the seat is between the legs and the feet rest on the foot plate of the scooter (although the feet don't quite reach the ground), so it looks like she's sitting, but really she's standing with legs slightly bent at the hip.

A:Â Hi there! The Ride in Style Scooter does not have any electronics, so the lights do not function (other than in your imagination, of course!) However the Ride Along Scooter with sidecar does have functioning lights and sounds, so that would be an alternative if you are looking for a scooter with lights. I buy it in 2019 and its pretty awesome actually. Yes, de dolls do not fit well, but i take care of that and also, its not the bike's fault, the problem is that the knees of the doll don't move, but the bike's is awesome, i have 14 and i'm still buying Our Generation stuff.

Super cute - my daughter loves all of the Our Generation toys, but it does not work. Her doll will not stay on the seat. This has caused so much stress for my daughter as she continues to try to make her stay. It’s a nightmare. I’m working on finding a way to make her stay. Any diy ideas?

A nice Christmas present but was disappointed when placing the dolls on the bike - they don’t fit and it’s impossible to keep them in place. The strap that should be a seatbelt is pointless and even though it states in the online instructions that the seat lifts off to reveal storage, it doesn’t. I think you would require the posable dolls but I still don’t think it would hold them. Looks nice, but poorly designed for the money. Disappointed to see my daughter struggling to gently push her along only to continue watching the doll fall off.

I was disappointed. The bigger scooter with the side car is only $10 more, and it lights up, makes noises, and the seat opens for storage. This one does none of that. I should spent the extra money….

cute but not functional. even if you buckle the strap the doll won't stay on and just wobbles and slides all over. should have made the buckle to go around her waist, instead it just goes over her legs and does nothing

This scooter was so very disappointing. The MG dolls do not actually sit on the scooter. The doll just falls over (along with the scooter) even with the strap. We bought several of the MG accessories as gifts and it was just a bummer to realize they are not actually functional with the dolls. I would not recommend unless you just want it for looks.
