A: Hi there! Our 12oz Food Storage Bottle is great for storing oils. However, the tip of the bottle may not be wide enough to dispense all the chili peppers that are in chili oils.

12oz. is 8" tall, not 6.5" as stated
These are good products, but the 12oz. is not 6.5" tall as stated. I'm keeping mine anyway because I wanted to have them on hand for impromptu sauces, etc. I used to have castor oil and sunflower oil for my skin in the 16oz. size, and I just emptied them into the 12oz. bottles I just bought, so they would fit better in my medicine cabinet. However, when cleaning the 16oz. bottles afterwards, the exterior (and I presume interior) turned into a gross, sticky mess, made worse with dish soap. The oils stored in them began to break them down and now they will probably have to be thrown away. There was no warning given for this. It also means that if the oils chemically changed the bottle, then the bottle chemically changed the oils --not good. So, I will be looking to store the oils for my skin in glass bottles which fit in my medicine cabinet in the 7.5" tall space. It's not easy to find the right bottles, but at least if Target advertized the correct height of the 12oz. bottles, that would have been one less frustration. I can only recommend these for larger spaces than what is advertised, and also for products containing no oils.

Great Bottle, Bad For Oil!!
The bottle is really high quality and has lasted me years now. It's honestly not good for storing any oil. It always eventually gets all over the bottle and will pool up under the bottle if you don't clean it every time you use it. For sauces, this is perfect!!
