A: Hello! Thanks for your question. These containers are designed for dry goods and pantry storage. While POP Containers are safe for refrigerator and freezer use, the temperature and air pressure change can cause the lid to lift off.

I'm trying to organize my counter space and saw that some of the OXO pop containers were on sale. I purchased the 6QT container for rice and 2 smaller ones, and though I checked the lids in the store, I didn't check this 1 thoroughly. I got home and my husband pointed out that it doesn't seal when locked. Looking at the reviews now I realize this has been an ongoing issue. This was definitely an impulse buy but now I'll have to return it. I don't think I'll purchase this 1 again. 2 stars for size.

I already had a smaller size of this container line, so I bought a larger one. The lid does not work the same as the other nor as advertised. I reached out to OXO, and had an agent proceed to belittle the problem until they said they wouldn’t send a replacement lid. The “warranty” you’re receiving with this product is not worth the hassle or price. If you buy one of this containers, make sure the lid is working right before you buy.

Target just threw this in the box with another heavier item and no packaging/bubble wrap. Item was all scratched up from rubbing on the other item and box. Just a shame they threw it in a big box and didn't package properly. Hate to deal with the hassle of return but it wasn't a cheap storage container.

The containers are easy to clean, BPA-free, and also dishwasher safe but I prefer washing these by hand. The product is available in different shapes and sizes. I would recommend it.

If it’s very well in my cabinet and is easy to grab to add my granola to my morning yogurt. I like how easy it is to disassemble for cleaning. It seems very durable and the airtight steel has kept my granola fresh.

The container looks very neat and clean on my counter, so I feel comfortable leaving it there all the time. The fact that it is clear is a huge plus, because it’s very easy to see what’s inside, especially if you have multiple containers together. My favorite feature is the “pop” top. If I push the button down the container is sealed and the top cannot be removed. This helps keep the food fresher for a longer time. To open the top, I just push the button again and it unseals the lid. Overall this is a great food container to have.

You have to make sure to pull apart the top when cleaning so it will drain well. When you add the things you want to it and put on the lid you have to push the button down to seal it. That’s what makes it air tight. And I tried to pull the top off while it was sealed and I couldn’t without actually breaking it. It’s the perfect size to put back up in the cabinet or leave out. Whatever you choose to do.

It just as easily opens with a pop on the top as well. I love that the lid quickly and completely comes apart for thorough cleaning. It’s totally dishwasher safe. This is perfect for storing cereal, snacks, dry pasta, or my favorite mixed nuts. And it looks as good as it works!

I love that I don't have to fuss with snapping the lid shut on all four sides like other containers on the market. It is also very helpful that it is clear so I know exactly what is in it. I've been using mine for granola but just about everything else could be stored in it! Leftover lasagna noodles would fit in this container like a dream. I can't wait to buy more and fill up my pantry with them! No more messy original bags or boxes, just a super simple and sleek way to store everything.

I value the crystal clear sides, solid top and one handed push to open function.
