It’s amazing!!!! My curls are defined, soft, bouncy and absolutely beautiful. I love Pattern! I am 65 years young and I am a former plus size model so I like to look good. These products are by far, the best products I have used ever!

My Unique Hair Type: Fine Strands. Thick Density, Black hair bleached to level 8 blonde, Tight S shaped curls (3c), Bra strap Length. Slip is okay if hair is soaking wet. . Hold is great for a creamy gel. Depending on the your lifestyle and texture , your Wash and go can definitely last a week without refresh. If you use a lot, it can be “crunchy” but its not hard. its a soft crunch. Can be used to slick hair back

I have true 4C hair—very coily, thick, and low porosity—and I used the Pattern Curl Gel right after applying the leave-in on soaking wet hair for a twist-out. While applying it, I actually saw my curls start to form, and it gave a nice definition on wet hair, which had me excited. It felt lightweight and not sticky, and didn’t clump up when layered over the leave-in. But once my hair dried, that definition faded a bit, and I was left with a twist-out that felt soft but product-y, and still looked dry on the surface. Like it curled, sure—but it didn’t give me that hydrated, juicy finish I was hoping for. My hair just looked dull even though it didn’t feel brittle or stiff. This gel might be better suited for looser textures or hair that doesn’t struggle with absorption. For my hair, it worked in the moment but didn’t last or penetrate enough to give that all-day or multi-day look I need from a gel. Final thoughts: If your hair defines easily or you’re rocking 4A/4B curls, this could give you a clean, light hold. But if you have dense, low porosity 4C coils like mine, just know the gel might show up on wet hair and then disappear as it dries. It’s not the worst, but it’s not the best either—for MY hair.

Type 3a - 3B curls that are usually a frizzy mess, even with some strong hold gels. This curl gel is more of a cream, and is the BEST product I have ever used for my curls. Put it on wet hair, scrunch and go. Where was this when I was younger?

I love the mini/travel sizes . It gave you the opportunity to try it without the pressure of investing in large quantities; wasting money just it case it not for you. I purchased the mini/travel and now I love Pattern hair products. My curls and coils are soft, moisturized and juicy. I love the way my hair feels and how it behaves with these products. I have tried the cleansing shampoo, mask, conditioner, leave-in (one of my favorites), styling curl gel and mousse. I LOVE THEM ALL. Next I will be trying the Argon Oil/serum & moisture milk.

I really thought this product was going to be nice in my hair and it was NOT. I can't believe the price of this. I have used a lot for products for my curly hair that are a lot cheaper and work amazing. The feel of my hair was gross using this product. My hair got frizzy right away and my curls looked horrible. Planning on returning.

I used to use another curl gel brand and it would pin down my curls and dry, weird and flaky. Ever since the switch to PATTERN and my curls have been more vibrant and lightweight. They have a volume like never before love this product and what it does for my hair
