The Philips Avent SCF293/00 Premium Electric Steam Sterilizer with Dryer effectively kills 99.9% of germs in just 6 minutes*. It sterilizes using steam, an effective, chemical-free way to protect your baby from harmful germs. It dries with hot, filtered air. Contents are dry and ready for the next feed within 40 minutes! The Premium Electric Steam Sterilizer with Dryer is adjustable, giving you the option of a small configuration for pacifiers, a medium configuration for breast pumps, toddler plates and utensils, and a large configuration for up to 6 Philip Avent bottles. As a result, it requires minimal space on your counter top. To use, just add water to the base, load, and turn on the power. Advanced features, such as a 6-minute cycle with automatic shutoff and drip tray to prevent unpleasant odors, make it easy to use; and contents remain sterile for up to 24 hours if the lid remains closed. A: Hello! You can sterilize all parts (except silicone tubes, caps, motor, and adapter) in a Philips AVENT sterilizer. Make sure to allow for a cool-down period after the sterilizing cycle has ended: the breast pump can be too hot to touch immediately after sterilizing. Do not sterilize electric components from the Philips Avent breast pump.

Q: Do you need to wash your bottles and pump parts by hand before using the sanitizer?

A: Hello! Yes, always make sure that you thoroughly clean your bottles before sterilising. You may clean by hand all parts with a soft brush (only use a mild washing detergent) or in dishwasher.

I absolutely love this sterilizer due to its convenience and how big it is. The reason why I give it 4 stars it’s because it doesn’t fit the Dr. Brows 8oz bottles, which is a bummer, but you can use with almost any other bottles. I’d still recommend it to anyone else that doesn’t use those bottles though.

Sterilizing and drying?! In only 40 minutes? I love it. Definitely recommend for new moms or just moms with bottle feeding infants in general. Not to mention I can store it when it is not in use just about anywhere in my house. I usually keep it near the kitchen though. It’s worth the money.

Bought this and used it once. Activated the dryer and ran it twice. Didn't work. When you open it, there's plenty of water and moisture. Not worth the price. Will try it one more time and if it fails again, will be returning.

This had decent reviews online and I really wanted to like it. Ours smelled like burning plastic even after running it through multiple times. It also got very hot to the touch on the outside. There were several pages of instructions but they were still confusing to us because the dial doesn’t clearly state what mode you’ve selected. We are returning the item.

I liked the concept of it but like others have mentioned the dryer cycle doesn’t dry the contents completely. After a month of using it the lid morphed and doesn’t sit on the product properly.

This was amazing at first. So easy to sterilize and while the drying function wasnt perfect, it did the job. However .. it stopped working after 7 weeks of use. It seems like it works, but it doesnt actually steam anymore. Therefore its not actually doing its job of sterilizing the bottles. Im very disappointed. I really wanted to like the product.

The instructions are just pictures and they expect you to go to some website for real instructions. It was really confusing using pictures. But anyway, had a great capacity and fully dries everything. I love it. I wish I had it sooner.
