    Excellent shaver yes I love it

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had Philips Norelco shaver 1280x for many many years and yes it is still working except the battery charges only 20 minutes and you guys not selling replacement for it so I bought i9000 and it is excellent shaver yes I love it very much it is a 10 from me thank you.     Good but not as good as it started out as.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the shaver is good. My first impressions were how fast and complete it shaved. I really liked the AI feedback. After a month, I am noticing a couple things; 1)battery life is very short. I leave the shaver in the charging stand so it is always fully charged but after a 2-3 minute shave and a single cleaning run in the upside down cleaner, the battery is often at 64%, that means 2 shaves and 2 cleanings on a single charge; 2)after about a month I notice I am missing a number hairs in every shave and need to go back and touch up. This is likely how I am shaving but come on shaving isn’t that difficult.

    Cleaning efficiency and very good battery life

    The shaver works effectively with and gives a very close shave with the App providing guidance on shaving efficiency. The battery provides excellent life. The shaver is very easy to clean using the cleaning pod and the App proguidance on the life of the cleaning pods and shaving heads. A much more rewarding experience than the previous shaver.

    Great razor that solved a couple of issues for me!

    I bought this for two reasons. First, my beard doesn’t grow in uniform direction. Second, Braun no longer plate the steel used for their foils and the high nickel content was giving me an allergic reaction. I’ve found this to be a big improvement from the Braun Series 9 Pro that I’ve used for several years (and have been using Braun for over 30 years!) It’s not perfect - skin needs to adapt a bit and the floating ‘petals’ housing the blades can catch on protruding things like chin and jaw line. Doesn’t hurt but slightly interrupts the smooth process. Comfortable to hold, WAY quieter than a Series 9, the cleaning pod is very quick and very effective. So far my face is clearing up and the shave is smoother. The app connection is useful although there’s no way I can shave in the recommended time! I need at least 5 minutes to make a good job of it.

    Forget the advertising, pass this one by.

    Up until this purchase, I used a Braun. It stopped working after 8 years and based on reviews and What Philips wrote about their razor, I decided to buy the Prestige Ultra. It took me 4 days to master the proper use, my foil razor took me about a half an hour to learn to use it properly. The prestige feel good in the hand, it’s a lovely design, but unfortunately this is where the praise stops. It doesn’t give me a close shave in 3,4,or even 6 minutes at any setting. At best it leaves me with barely visible beard that feels as rough as sandpaper. It does not cut at or below the surface and the hair under my chin and above my upper lip have that 5 o’clock shadow no matter how much or how long I shave.

    Woeful instructions

    If there was a global sweepstake for the worst product instructions then this product would be in contention to win. The black instructions just screw up and throw away. Other information you just about need an electron microscope to read. And they are in a significant percentage of the World’s languages. It will make you feel like Forest Gump.

    Battery Problems

    This is my 3rd razor within just over a month. Original and two replacements. I shall be returning the 3rd on my return from my vacation. All the razors lose their charge within 48 hours after a full charge.

    Just ok

    Feels more like a toy and the results are substandard with the shave not close enough compared with my Brain series 9. The cleaning process could be better. Feels cheap for the price
