Description
Remove plaque and experience a deep, effective clean with Sonicare technology, removing up to 7x more plaque vs. a manual toothbrush. Sonicare technology gently pulses water between your teeth, for a month's worth of manual brushing in just 2 minutes. The QuadPacer lets you know when you've spent the optimal amount of time on each section of your mouth while the SmarTimer signals when your 2 minutes is up. The pressure sensor flashes red to remind you to ease off, helping to prevent gum recession, while the 2 intensity settings ensure a comfortable clean that’s right for you. Going electric might feel like a big step, but with this brush you’re in safe hands. Its slim ergonomic design and familiar-shaped head gives you everything you need for an effective clean. The kit includes 1 Philips Sonicare 4100 electric toothbrush, 1 Optimal Plaque Control (C2) brush head and 1 USB charging cable (wall adaptor not included).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the Philips Sonic 4100 Series electric toothbrush in August after our E Series Philips electric toothbrush began to only work intermittently. We had the E Series for about 15 years and thought it did a very good job cleaning our teeth and gums. The 4100 Series took some getting used to. It feels different in my hand and feels different on our teeth but does feel like it is doing a sufficient job. The next trip to the dentist will tell the story. I also like that there are 2 speeds.

Having purchased and used a Philips Sonic Electric Toothbrush previously which eventually stopped working, I liked it so much I decided to order another one, albeit a lower priced one as they are rather expensive for how long they last. This one was purchased in a sale, so great price. Having used it for a good few months now, would definitely recommend this Electric Sonic Toothbrush, keeps my teeth clean, fresh and seem to be gleaming! If you are able to purchase at a reduced price it is reasonable value for money, at a full price I would say not, plus for what you are spending, they do not always last as long as they should and cheaper to buy a new one than have them repaired. Would highly recommend this Philips Sonic Electric Toothbrush if you require one that seems to look after your teeth and gums, the 2 minute timer is a great asset too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not sure what is wrong with me, but the excessive saliva that gets produced, and runs down my hand, or has me leaning over the sink, makes this very inconvenient to use with dubious effectiveness. I use less than 1/8 of a teaspoon of toothpaste (on the advice of my dentist to use 'less' than normal) and it still causes me to drool. With any less, and I bet that I'd get the benefit of no fluoride. And that makes me think that this is kinda worse for my teeth than manual brushing ?

Lightweight and cute design. Battery life died after about 4 days, which is shorter than other toothbrushes. Satisfied with the price I paid for it.

When I purchased this tooth brush I immediately noticed that the feeling of quality was significantly worse than the Sonicare I had had for ~8yrs before (the battery finally wore out). It was much lighter and felt cheaper (the old version plastic was a glossier, higher quality finish). After about 6-8 months the metal piece which the replaceable heads fit to started to become loose. Progressively over the past month or two it has now become unusable. I am disappointed to see that Philips has been significantly downgrading the quality of their Sonicare toothbrushes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased due to a recommendation from Wirecutter and never looked back. It's everything it reports to be: quiet, powerful and sleek. One thing I noticed early on was that the on off button was the same color as the body so visually it was harder to locate than through feel.
