It is for 5 years and older, which is age appropriate, under 5 there could be a choking risk because the pieces are small. I love the kitten design, it is very girly with the different shades of pinks and purples. It is super cute and such a fun puzzle mat to use to create the kitten. It’s like a combination of color by number, a puzzle and legos. It’s such a fun and unique idea. All of my kids really enjoyed doing it! They’ve all said they’re going to add more of them to their birthday and Christmas lists lol. I love that the pieces are high quality and that they’re washable. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and I had a great time putting this puzzle together Each puzzle comes with a pre printed image and numbered sections that correspond with specific colors making it easy to follow If you do not want to follow the pre printed image you can make your own or even a 3D creation The only downside is that the pieces are hard and after a while began to make our fingers sore Despite that we had lots of fun and will be an activity that we pull out often to do I received an incentive to write this review.

It’s super cute and girly and she loves cats so that’s a bonus. The colors are adorable. It’s easy to understand how to build thanks to the color and number coded sheet included. The puzzle by number is cool because it gives kids an idea of what to build and makes it easy for them to successfully do it. This kitten pattern is adorable and my daughters are obsessed with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The age range on this puzzle should be 10 or older. The pieces are a hard plastic that can be challenging to click together at times. By the end of putting the puzzle together my son said his fingers hurt having to push the pieces together so much. When you put the puzzle together you have to ensure the pieces are placed tightly together or the rest of the puzzle pieces won't line up with the background paper you are following. In face, even when you push the pieces together tightly there are times where the pieces didn't line up perfectly. When completing this puzzle my son realized he was missing two yellow pieces to complete his puzzle, so he was frustrated with spending so much time and not being able to finish it completely. As you get closer to finishing the puzzle it gets harder to press the pieces together if the item you are pressing down is already surrounded by other pieces that are in place.

This is like a classic color by number activity but except coloring it is with the tiles. Each tile is numbered by its color and then you place it on the mat to make the cat face. They stick together very well once the cat is completed but until then, pieces slide everywhere so be careful. I would only get this for a six year old and up. It comes with a pattern size pattern that you match colors of the pieces to the numbers on the design. After you get them all put together it creates the cat picture. With besutiful colors like black, white, pastel pink, neon green, lilac, yellow, purple, fuchsia, these color a beautiful to bring your kitten alive by putting these puzzle pieces on the recommended numbers. It’s a wonderful stem toy to develop fine motor skills, focus and patience. The inter locking pieces are easy to put together and they are very soft rubber material. It has the cutest colors like light purple and dark purple. It is bigger than expected. It’s about a foot by a foot. it says that you can create in 2-D and 3-D. I would be careful though because puzzle pieces are very small and someone could easily choke on these if they put them in their mouth. The ages say five and up, but I’m unsure a five-year-old could put this entire thing together without adult supervision and help. I received an incentive to write this review.
