Full/Queen PlushLux Bed Blanket Sand - Vellux: Microplush, Heavyweight, Machine Washable, Tumble Dry

I bought the version of this from a department store 6 years ago for 4 times the price. It has lasted that long and I hope this one is just as great. It's so soft and warm. It does not go all the way down the side of the mattress because it's not a bed spread. The older version is the same way. The blanket doesn't slide down and keeps you so cozy

I ordered the beige and full queen, The review said it was a little short then you should purchase a king size to fit your queen size mattress. It is true it is very short. I would return an order the king but it is currently not available. Therefore, I will keep it because it is very plush and fluffy and will be on the lookout for a king size to purchase in the future.

I first ordered a full/queen for our queen bed. The blanket did not reach the bottom of the mattress, so I returned it for a king size. The king size can be tucked in at the end and only touches the bottom of the mattress on the sides. I would have prefered it to be tucked in all the way around, as it is a blanket, not a comforter. It is made of two layers of fleece with batting in between, not the traditional vellux material. I kept the blanket, as I had already returned one. After using it 2 weeks, I have found that it slides down to my waist or lower every night, while the sheet and comforter stay at my neck. I even tried pinning it to the comforter, and it pulled the comforter down with it. I have never had a blanket do this before. I wish I could return it, but it has been used.

Updated bedroom from comforter to a white coverlet and knew we’d need something heavier to keep us warm in the winter. This blanket is gorgeous, super soft and warm… doesn’t shed either. Will be too heavy here for year round, but is perfect for fall and winter here in Texas.

This blanket is super soft and warm. It’s great for cold winter nights. It’s much heavier then standard plush blankets.

This is the best blanket! I never want to get out of bed because it is so comfortable. It’s just heavy enough. Not to light and is really warm.

Overall I’m pretty happy with this. The plum is darker than the photo but still very rich and pretty in color. The only thing I would change is the size, it’s a bit small for a king mattress. There’s less than a foot of material off each edge of the bed, so someone is going to end up with a cold shoulder in the night. That “barely covers the bed” issue is part of the reason I wanted to get away from using comforters, and so I bought this to try something different. If it were bigger so there’d be plenty of excess blanket for both people, it would be perfect. The plush is deep and as soft or more so than my Berkshire blankets, which have been my standard so far for luxurious plush blankets.
