Everything works nice. I just wish I could set it upright on a flat surface, there are "feet" in the plastic mold but mine its just something to look at nothing functional.

It’s not possible to see what station you are tuned to! The radio is good looking and the sound is not bad, just improve the tuning!

The radio has a decent sound, not the best, not the worse, but it's a cheap radio overall. The plastic casing feels light and brittle, there's no way to remove the wrist strap, and the radio is unable to stand up on its own, causing you to either lay it flat on a surface or prop it up against another object. The only thing it really has going for it is that it looks cool, but there are better pocket radios for just five to ten bucks more than this one costs.

No information on jack sizes for earbuds. Antenna falls off. Volume bob falls off. Not what I expect from this company

I'm not going to be a jerk and give this product a 1-star because a specification was missing. We used 20 of these for an event and they worked fine. I'm here becuase I need to order some earpieces and can't find the info on what type / size they use. Frustrating yes. Hopefuly someone at Dewant can add this info here.

Answer the question about the headphone on the thread, not by email. That is useless.

Hello zxcasd and thank you for your feedback and question. We apologize for not having that answer available for you. The external microphone for the DEWALT DXFRS800 walkie-talkie is a single-prong type. The model number for the headset is DXFRSSV1. We will be contacting you at the email address you have provided. Thank you Roxy DEWALT

I was looking for the specifications on the external microphone port. For handheld shoulder mount. Is it single prong or double prong? And how many millimeters?

The only thing I don't like is the position of the tuning wheel. When you pick up the radio it's easy to touch the wheel and loose the station you are listening to.Also a small fraction of a turn makes a big change in frequency.I like everything else about this radio including the price and batteries used. 2 aa's instead of a 9 volt.

I bought this to replace an older one that lies unused most the time. We have power outages up here in the mountains and this is a backup radio to listen to weather forecasts and the news. All I had done so far is turned on to see if it works and then put it in the blackout kit.
Nice, simple transistor radio. Good value

Easy to use. Decent sound quality, good volume. Batt. life seems very good - I've had this playing 6-10 hrs a day over a 5 day trip and it's still going strong. The only negative aspect so far is that the volume and tuner dials are exactly opposite each other on the sides of the radio, so trying to operate the radio with just one hand almost always nudges the dial you don't want to change.
Great choice

The sound is clear and getting stations is not a problem. I also liked the fact that it took AA batteries which last longer than AAA ones.

Great purchase for the value. Sound quality is good considering the size of the radio/speaker. Volume gets plenty loud with minimal distortion. Gets more stations than my digital receiver.

I bought this radio to listen the Saints game in Superdome. Used it for the first time last night. Very lightweight. Fits in a back or side pocket. It has a good FM reception in Superdome. Price is excellent.
