[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game is super fun but it does take some getting used to and learning about the rules. I didn’t really understand the concept at first but after a few games it became addicting and super engaging! Good game to play with your friends and older teenagers in your family! The cards and materials are really quality and came very well packaged. We love the game and would highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not hard to play, I do recommend playing with new players all the time. Reason being that you eventually catch on to the answers. the packing is small which I love doesn’t take up much space. it Also comes with flash cards for after photos, great for the holidays

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game is super easy to understand and play. I played it with ease and loved it. I would love to add this to our game nights. The packaging is great as it’s just a box, and not too big. I played with adults but I believe teens could play with ease as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game had us cracking up from start to finish. It’s such a fun twist on a party game because instead of solving a mystery, you’re basically interrogating your friends and dragging out the “petty crimes” they’d rather keep quiet. Think speeding tickets, sneaky parking jobs, or even just littering nothing too serious, but definitely hilarious once people start confessing. I loved that it comes with everything to set the scene crime cards, confession cards, and even a mugshot poster background for post game photos. The mugshots ended up being one of the best parts because it felt like the perfect way to wrap up all the ridiculous stories that came out. It’s easy to learn, quick to play, and works whether you have a small group or a bigger crowd. Definitely not your typical board game it leans more into laughs and storytelling, which made it feel fresh and different. Perfect for game night if you want something lighthearted but memorable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unsolved Case Files: Criminal Confessions was such a fun game to play with my friends. We got together for a BBQ game night and after we ate, we started reading the rules and it was so interactive and engaging. It wasn't too challenging, and we were close, but now we're close for life because i know a couple of secrets. *insert evil laugh here". The person who most surprised me was my best friend. She is a saint, or so i thought! The packaging was so intriguing, everyone wanted to play. I already have people asking me over to game night and their one request? "Bring unsolved case files! We are learning some secrets tonight!"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon unboxing this game I found the game instructions on top. The instructions are clear with the objective, components including crime cards and confession cards, setup, clear directions on how to play and each step, winning the game and additional rules. The instructions even include how to complete post game mugshots which sounds like a blast! I love the score cards, but if I were to improve upon this game I would make the scorecards as dry erase boards to save on the paper usage. This game is recommended for age 14+ but I think you could play with someone as young as 11/12! In addition this game can be played with anywhere from 2 to 10 players which makes it extremely various sized groups of people! I can’t wait to have another function where I can share this game with my friends and family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Criminal Confessions is a fun and creative party game where players take on roles as suspects and detectives, using storytelling and bluffing to entertain. It’s easy to learn with no complex rules, making it great for teens and adults who enjoy crime shows or improv. The game comes in a compact, sturdy box with prompt cards and simple instructions—perfect for travel or game night. It’s best to enjoy in a lively group settings, but not ideal for younger or sensitive players.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Detective board game is a great game in itself but I found this one to be much more immersive and realistic. The quality of the components are the best I've seen and the presentation makes you feel like you've been handed an actual case file (minus the gore) from a police department. Newspaper articles feel like they are from a newspaper, photos are actual real photo quality, reports appear as if they could be legitimate documents. I watch criminal intent and feel like I fit right in this is a very intelligent person game.
Good concept but not for young kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the concept of this game but it was difficult to play with kiddos. Albeit, we have younger kids and had to filter a lot of the cards. However, the package says 12+ and I don’t think that’s really appropriate. It would be super fun to play with adults or older children!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Neither me nor my friends commit any crimes so this was a bust for us :( We thought it’d be a fun “who did it” type of games where you assign crimes and then have to guess who did it, etc. More of a problem solving type of game, not an icebreaker game. I don’t know many people who would be able to have a wild time with this one lol. Packaging and everything inside had decent quality just the content of it wasn’t for me or my group of very tame friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We played Criminal Confessions with a group of friends, and we couldn't stop laughing! The game is a fun mix of truth-telling, bluffing, and calling each other out over silly “crimes.” It really gets everyone talking and brings out hilarious stories—who knew a parking ticket could be so entertaining? The mugshot poster was a great touch for photos at the end. It’s perfect for game nights or parties, especially with people who love mystery or improv-style games. Easy to learn, super engaging, and a total hit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unsolved Cases Criminal Confessions is like a twisted version of "Never Have I Ever," where players confess things they've actually done, making it hilarious and sometimes shocking. We really enjoyed the Unsolved Cases Criminal Confessions card game, even though there were only three of us playing. It’s a great mix of fun and awkward moments, perfect for getting to know each other in a revealing way. A great way to challenge your detective skills!
Kind of boring if you don't commit crimes often

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in my 30s and I thought most of the "crimes" would be silly things like skipping in line or picking your nose but no the cards are literal crimes and it makes for a boring game if you're not part of a Mafia posse. The packaging is nice and it's fun to include the mug shot background, but it's not very exciting to play. Good card quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently played the Pressman Unsolved Case Files: Criminal Confessions, and my whole family really enjoyed solving the case together! It was a little difficult at times, which actually made it even more fun and engaging. We loved putting the clues together, reading the evidence, and working as a team to figure it all out. It really made us feel like real detectives! This game is such a unique experience—highly recommend it for anyone who loves mysteries and wants something different and exciting to do with the family. Can’t wait to try the next one!
