My 3rd grader enjoyed

My daughter was really interested in George Washington and enjoyed the book. We’d read it together and I found it enjoyable, too. My only quibble with this series is they have side stories embedded mid-story, which interrupts the flow. It’s good additional information but I don’t like that they’re placed where they are.
