Nipple Flow Scale was designed by a moron.

Whatever clown thought going from a 1 to a 2 should be a 70% flow differential is an idiot. But at this point you’ve already bought all these garbage bottles that were no better than any others.

Bought an empty packege of nipples

Packet came empty so I was unable to use, I obviously bought it because I needed the nipple for my baby’s bottles so please be more careful in checking packages before restocking

Great for my 6 month old

My baby was taking so long to finish her bottle. We swapped to size 3s and she's drinking a lot faster (but not too fast).

Larger Pack Option

We love Dr Browns bottles, and are so glad they come in larger packs! Not too expensive to move all of her bottles up to the larger size

Perfect for my Baby

My baby will only use Dr Browns bottles. The six pack of nipples was great as we normally use about 6 bottles a day before we wash everything at night/sterilize.

Good

I bought these to replace some level 1 and 2 nipples I had since the baby is over 8 months old now. They worked great and there were no leaks. She has been on Dr. Brown’s bottles since she was a newborn and likes these nipples.

These leak like crazy

The negative reviews are right- these leak like crazy. As in a steady flow will shoot out the nipple. I bought 3 packs of these, for a total of 6 nipples. Every single one leaked.

Bottles leak

Im sorry but these bottles really aren’t that great. They leak no matter how full they are. After baby is done eating, I take the bottle away only to have milk pour out down the bottle and all over my hands, furniture, all over the baby. I’ve been using them for 3 months and each time I am frustrated by how bad they leak. I honestly don’t know what the big hype is about these bottles… I can’t be the only one having this issue. I am going to switch to EvenFlo bottles, I am done messing with Dr Browns leaky ones. They would be great if they didn’t leak so bad! I never fill them past the line so there should be no reason for this, and I assemble all the bottle’s correctly!

They leak!

I was so determined and excited to use Dr.Browns, but They all leak! On thier website they say it's because the the nipple flow is too slow so it builds pressure, so I went up a size in the dr browns brand nipple and it's too fast of a flow for my baby. We have tried putting the lids on tighter, looser, and they still leak. There is nothing more aggravating than feeding at 3am and having milk run down the bottle and making a mess especially breast milk that you've worked hard for. When you google Dr.Browns there are multipleartices about them leaking. On their Facebook page, all you see are comments about how they leak. They are too expensive to be leaking. Hopefully soon we will be learning to use a sippy cup (not dr browns brand.) And we won't have to deal with this anymore.

Awful - leaking

Picture it, you've finally cleaned your house, changed into fresh clothes, and babe is snug as a bug. Then, you go to feed and there is milk EVERYWHERE! Milk leaking all over babe, milk rings on every surface, even milk drops on the floor. These bottles aren't worth it. Leaking aside, the vents are a pain to clean and the brush that comes with does less than ideal job. The vent is required to assemble the bottle so you can't even ditch those. Trouble shooting suggests getting a different flow nipple and that still doesn't seem to help with the leaks. I suggest trying a different brand because how much should you have to spend to fix a problem that shouldn't be there in the first place.

Loving it!

Baby boy is transitioning into level 3 he's 6 months old! He finishes his bottle so much quicker than before! He loves that he doesn't have to try as hard like his level 2

Waste of Money, Does nothing to reduce gas

Expensive bottles that provide no benefits. Switching to these provided absolutely no noticeable reduction in how gassy our kid was and the both 4 and 8 oz bottles leak like crazy. Following Dr Browns instructions doesn't help either. I am at a loss as to why there are so many 5 star reviews for these, I can only imagine we bought two sets both of which are defective? I can't imagine having your hand covered in gross formula every single time is fine for most people.

Best Bottle Nipple for Us!

We originally started using the size 1 nipples for my newborn as we are combo feeding and the gassiness she suffered from was insane. We tried paced feeding as well and she was borderline colicky. Once we switched to the premie nipple, she is not nearly as gassy, takes her time on the bottle and we are much happier with the overall purchase.
