Complaint re: new Taster’s Choice French Roast
I am writing as a long-time and extremely loyal customer who has been drinking solely Nescafé Taster’s Choice French Roast every morning for over 20 years. With the new label change, the product itself has clearly changed as well, and it no longer tastes like the French Roast. This isn’t a minor difference; it is simply not the same coffee anymore. To be completely honest, the current version tastes terrible compared to what it used to be. I opened one of the new jars, could not drink it, and ended up returning it to the store. This coffee is no longer drinkable for me. If this reformulation was intentional, I strongly urge you to reconsider. Losing long-time customers should matter.

DISGUSTING
I have enjoyed Taster's Choice French Roast for many years, until 2025. I would call it bitter and rancid-tasting now, and not something that should be ingested. It's that bad.

It’s not weird or difficult
If I had any complaints it would be that it tastes good enough to make substituting impossible. House blend is my go to simply for the flavor and French is my go to when I’m drinking coffee for the kickstart. They don’t have odd tastes I get from other brands like I’m drinking ash or perfume. Sorry other brands. I truly cannot enjoy anything else in the instant isle now. It’s fast it’s good and it’s easy. Add ice or don’t the flavors work hot or cold. Follow the instructions or be perfectly happy using half of suggestion per Oz as I am. I don’t recall brewing a pot of anything as good so instant and this good is a win every cup for me. Travel mug at home for all day warm sips is my way of drinking it. Less changing the flavor w add ins required. In short Yum!

No longer a quality product.
Loved this coffee for several years but it's no longer the same. Freshness, aroma and taste are very bland. That good quality is now missing. I'll be looking for a replacement.

I've been drinking Nescafe instant coffee since the 70's before it was merged with Tasters Choice. I take a jar with me when I travel so I'm not stuck with hotel coffee. I do miss the old square jars with the red lids. They were great for storing flour and sugar after they were emptied. In fact, I still have 3 that are in use today! But, it's the taste and quality that has made me stick with your product for over 50 years. Hopefully, the Columbian will be available soon as I definitely prefer it over the others.

Delicious taste. Great aroma. Too bad space is now limited due to re-zoning area. This product is now always sold out when I want to purchase. Will find coffee elsewhere. A woman's got to have her favorite coffee every morning.

French Roast Disappointment
2013, in New York, discovered the 1 oz. packets of Taster's Choice. It was fantastic--like freshly brewed coffee! Then, back in California, I could only find it in the jar. What a disappointment. It tasted nothing like French Roast. I threw the jar away. I never did find the packets again. I discovered that no matter what the brand, French Roast does not taste like it used to. Thank you.
